which modem do I have?

I'm looking to root my new g3 I picked up. I see everyone saying "go to baseband it will tell you" But I don't see anything that clearly says "24B" or "23C". I ran into this issue when I did my G2 also, but did it blindly..(and came out ok with 24B) lol Now I figured as I was on LP that it would be 24B, so I tried the all-in-one 24B root, it failed with access denied..and now the software status does say modified. So really I'm just wondering if there is some super secret place to decode the baseband to see what the modem is. Thank in advance for your response.:svetius:
