force LTE / HSPA only

Does anyone using the Mate7 on T-Mobile have problems with the phone locking on to a stronger Edge signal when a weaker LTE/HSPA signal is available?

I have been trying to find a way to force LTE / HSPA only but that doesn't seem to be an option. I can force WCDMA only which sometimes resolves the problem., but then leaves out LTE coverage.
