[Q] [HELP]M7 screen broken after fall

Dropped my phone the other day, now the top 1/5 of the phone's screen does not respond to touch.

Did diagnostic test (*#*#3424#*#*) confirmed this.

I know I should probably run down to the service centre to get it fixed but my warranty's expired and they charge absurd rates.

Any ideas on how to solve this?:confused:
