Volume control with USB DAC

I am currently in the process of buying equipment I need to turn my nexus 7 in to a headunit in my car. I plan on Using a USB DAC (most likely Behringer UCA202 ) I have no experience with USB DAC's. My question is it possible to adjust the output volume out of the DAC via the volume control on the nexus 7? Or is volume a fixed level and I need to use a device after the DAC to adjust volume?
