Wifi Calling With Unlocked AT&T Note 4 On T-Mobile

If I get my phone unlocked (I paid full price for it), I know that going from AT&T to TMO means losing wifi calling. But does that include using a 3rd party app like GrooveIP, or will I lose all ability to make calls over wifi?
