Has anyone tried 1080p MHL output on the Tab Pro? (T520). I have an unofficial MHL adapter but I'm only able to get 720p output. Don't know if the problem is the adapter or some other thing. I cannot find any output setting in the menu neither. (running stock)

Change the HDMI output resolution in a RK3188 android stick
Hello all,
Im trying to use a RK3188 android player (model Q7S, Android 4.4) to drive a 3d kiosk but the 3d display has a pretty low resolution (800x600) that is incompatible with the available outputs (they have a very similar 720×576 resolution).
There's any way to change it? Maybe a custom kernel that would work or a way to modify the stock kernel.
The device is already rooted with a custom recovery installed.

Frozen HDMI dongle
I bought an HDMI dongle based on RK2928 processor. Here are the specs: link in Polish
In short, it doesn't work. It froze when I entered the DLNA mode and right now it just shows one image and doesn't react in any way no matter what I do. I checked on three different HDTVs.
When I connect it to my computer through USB it loads as "rk2928sdk". Here is the info from USBDeview: ProductID 0010 VendorID 2207.
What can I do? From what I gathered these dongles are made just like cheap Android tablets. One factory makes thousands which are then sold under different names all over the world.
