A very cool feature of prime IMO is unlimited cloud storage for photos. Even cooler I have fire TV and can use my cloud photos as the screensaver.
But I only just started with prime and today I went into settings and there was a vague warning about having a rooted device (security reasons.)
I get that if the wrong user had root privs on your device they could wreak havoc but I've used rooted devices with other online storage services and never got this message. Is there something I'm missing or is this amazon overstating risks to keep the ecosystem strictly amazon? I'm not overly concerned but if anyone has thoughts please share.
