No backlight after screen replacement z3 xperia compact

I changed the screen because it cracked. When I first tried the screen it was fine and it worked. Then after a while the backlight didn't work. The screen works and I can barely see things on the screen, but backlight is not working.

I read there is a fuse that helps fix this issue but I don't know if this will help. Here it is: http://www.mobilerdx.com/2015/03/sony-xp...

sony z3 compact fuse backlight issue

It's the first time the phone is opened and I never thouched the fuse because it's underneath a metallic plate, which I didn't even touch or moved. So why would I have to do something with the fuse if I never did anything to it and the screen was working when I tested it?? It just stopped working afterwards for some unknown reason.

The phone is on, because there is the blinking light. So, do you have some suggestions??? Should I actually try to add a jumper on the fuse??

Thanks.

EDIT: I remember that when I was about to close the phone I put the screen upside down, and it was when the screen backlight stopped working. Is this some reason why the fuse could have been damaged???

Thanks

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 Screen Backlight Issue??

Good afternoon all, I'm wondering if anyone can help.

My Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 developed an issue with the screen (after travel - where it may have been knocked around a little)...

The tablet boots up fine and the screen appears to work normally.

However once the screen times out and switches off, or the screen is switched off by the power button, it is not possible to get the screen back on.

It appears that it's just the backlight that is not coming back on?.... as the screen responds to touch (you can here the pin code buttons being clicked).... but can't see anything at all on the screen.

Rebooting the tablet from here makes the screen come back on as normal - so as it works like this and just does not come back on after being 'on staandby' I thought it might be a software issue... I did a full factory reset but unfortunately the problem is still exactly the same.

I've had the tablet to bits to see if I could see any cables loose or anything - but everything looks ok - I think (Although it's the first time I've had one apart and wasn't 100% sure which cables were for the screen)

There was nothing obviously disconnected or loose.

Has anyone come across this fault before or can anyone provide any more guidance? Maybe a particular cable to check or how to check it?

Many Thanks,
Tom Leitch

Backlight stays on only on stock based roms

My Xperia sp's Backlight stays on when locked. This only happens I have stock rom installed. If I have a custom rom I don't have this problem. I have exactly the same apps installed whether I am on stock or custom. I prefer stock roms so would like to find a fix if possible. Thanks for your help

Have a Nexus 5 (32 GB) and it's backlight is acting abnormally for few days!

I have this Nexus 5 for 11 months but for last 1 to 2 months it's backlight is like blinking and going off for several seconds and coming back again and partially dimming at a side and then recovering the brightness again. It started when I started playing clash of clans, and the phone got heated(around 45°C); but even after I uninstalled the game, it didn't stop. This is happening sometimes, everyday, but not all day long. That's why I wasn't concerned much, but yesterday after blinking for few seconds the bottom right side of the screen stayed a little dark(ish)[ not very prominent, but visible to me ]. It's still like that and still the blinking hasn't stopped. Anybody had this experience before, or anybody has a clue to fix this, help me.

P.S - The phone is fully functioning during this and, rebooting is ending the blackout, but that may be because the time taken for rebooting.
