Pedometer app with google now card?

was wondering if there is an app that integrates into google now cards so I could easily just swipe and see my total steps.

Ridiculously inaccurate pedometer

Is there any way to calibrate or tune the pedometer? Its just abysmally inaccurate. It's counted over 1100 steps so far today and I've taken maybe 300.
