how to compile slim using cm trees

dear developers,

i need a short info please. is it easily possible to compile slimlp using device/kernel/vendor trees form cm? if yes, is there a guide for the tricky steps somewhere around? i know how to build a rom and i have done this already with pacrom for my asus tablet, but i'd like to try slim now.
