After the 5.1 Update last week I had lots of issues. Battery discharging when connected via USB to a PC, poor battery performance generally and the Contacts app hardly working. It took ages to get details on a contact. The handset was also getting very warm.
I tried lots of things including cache wipe, disabling Google Photos and then contacted HTC. A backup and then hard reset seems to have sorted all issues.
Just wanted to pass on as I scanned XDA for solutions but this is the only thing that works.
