Galaxy Nexus Gaming Capabilities

Hi. I recently bought a Galaxy Nexus off of Ebay, because my old phone broke. It was only , and I saw it as a great deal.
I'm curious about how it will be able to handle today's games, specifically:

-Dead Trigger 2
-Asphalt 8: Airborne
-Modern Combat 4 or 5
-Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies
-Riptide GP2
-Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
-Mortal Kombat X

If you have any first-hand experiences or predictions on how smooth the games will run, please post them below. Thanks :)

Nexus 5 Gaming

Hi all, been gaming on my Nexus 5 pretty frequently lately and I have some concerns. I have read some threads about how great games like Dead Trigger 2 look and run but I can't get mine to run stable on medium settings! Is this naturel, because I know it's got a Snapdragon 800 as it's processor and that's a pretty solid setup. I know the processor is aging and so is the phone but shouldn't I be able to run aging games at pretty great FPS'? The rom I am running is a more recent version of Cyanogenmod 12.1 CAF and also use greenify to keep apps hibernated . Also keep in mind I tested this on stock 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 and still the same results. Thanks!

Hello Gamers,
I've made a whatsapp group dedicated for games. The group is for all gaming platforms, so it doesn't matter if you game on Xbox, PS, PC, Android or IOS; We've got them all. Through the group, members can discuss games, inquire about games, share and get access to links, participate in multiplayer events and also take part in our intense highscore competitions in which members can showoff how good they are on Android&IOS games and prove whether they got what it takes to be in our Gamers Squad's Hall of Fame. If you are a gamer and you're interested in joining the group, send the word "Gamer" via whatsapp to this number: +919636628839 and you will be added to the squad.

Low-end SoC's for gaming?

I am looking for a budget tablet in my country that can run most recent GPU/CPU intensive games fluently on low settings and I've found 3 of the most popular SoC's that are sold in tablets in my country.

Tegra 3(T33)
Intel Atom Z3745
Cortex-A9 + Mali-400/450(both with 4 cores)

Which of these SoC's could run most GPU/CPU intensive games fluently today?
You can, of course, make your own suggestions.

Bad gaming perfomance

Hey, so i got games such as real racing 3 and real boxing and they both look very low detailed, yet real racing 3 feels laggy and most likely under 30 fps most of the time which is bugging me a lot. Is this usual for this phone or is something wrong with mine?

New to custom roms looking for gaming rom suggestions

I have an Xperia R800i that Im no longer using as a cell phone and would like to turn it into basically a handheld game player, something really geared tword running games well. I have no experience with installing or using roms other than official android updated ones from the manufacturer so any advice on one would be helpful. What I would like ideally is something I could set once and forget. I aim to just install a ton of emulators, maybe a few psp games, listen to music or maybe watch video files/movies. Phone service, Web surfing, apps whatever else I can take or leave.

Ive been looking around and saw this one Xperia NXT Gaming http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2173130
That sounds ok to me since I dont care about cellular service or messaging on this anymore, in fact this unit I think has a broken cellular antenna as it likes to keep losing service (is why I have another phone now) But if someone knows of something you think is better Id love to hear it.

Thanks in advance
