What Happens When You Block A Contact on Whatsapp ?

Hey Guys
1. Although it is clear that when you block a Whatsapp contact, you are no longer able to receive any calls or messages from that contact. Does this apply for group chats as well ?

2. If you block a person from whatsapp but share a same whatsapp group, will you be able to receive any messages from that contact in the Whatsapp group ? Also, will you be able to see notifications like "X has added Y in the group" ? :confused:

Hi All Moto G 2015 users can you please confirm whether WhatsApp can be installed on the external SD card ? I can do that in the Lenovo a6000 plus. It is important for me as I receive tons of media via WhatsApp. Will be really helpful if someone can clarify this.

International Whatsapp group for S3 developers & Users

Hi guys, after not getting any response myself here, I made a Whatsapp group of my own.

The OP of the above mentioned Thread (which, Aramantin is closed now) is really inactive (no offence) & I'm the one who dealt with all the requests from XDA members interested in joining the Whatsapp group.. :o


Tired of making up for someone else, I finally decided to go ahead and make a Thread of mine to carry on with the Whatsapp group that I maintain (32 members till 19th of August)
Many people join and leave for their respective reasons which is good in a way because Whatsapp limits a group to 100 members.. :laugh:

Anyways, share your numbers with me here or in P.M. wherever, you're comfortable.. :angel:

WhatsApp voice note issue

Hi[emoji2],

I got an HTC One less than a week ago and I'm having an issue with my WhatsApp. It happens on average once or twice a day that I can hold down the record button and talk and when I release it... No message!

I then restart the phone and then it works perfectly. I don't have this issue with Telegram or any other app and even with WhatsApp when I respond on the pop-up notification.

Any ideas?[emoji15]

Mi problema es que con las siguientes rom cyanogenmods: guatum, cyanhacker no recuerdo cual otra (perdón si los nombres no están bien escritos) el problema es que cuando alquien o yo llamo a alguien por whatsapp, la persona con la que estoy hablando me escucha pero esa persona no a mi. Yo quiero saber como solucionar eso o si hay alguna cyanogenmod 100% confiafle y estable en la que no suceda eso. Gracias!!! Hi guys,

Totally desperate, I uninstalled the whatsapp on my stock 5.1.1 S6 edge and I installed again.
After that is impossible to disable the heads up notifications, I already disable the option from the whatsapp menu but are still there.
I uninstalled again the whatsapp (I delete the whatsapp folder after uninstall the whatsapp) and I wiped the cache and I installed again and I still have the issue.

I want to avoid a factory reset.

Any Idea.

Access filesystem of Nokia 920 to get WhatsApp database

Good evening,

I am using my windows nokia 920 with windows mobile 8.1. I would to get access to my whatsapp database to make an backof of outside my Phone. Because the 920 has no SD Card slot, i can not create a backup on it.

So I am looking for an App that can backup the database to an external location, or have full access to my windows Phone directory. Please help me...

Whatsapp on Rooted Nexus 7 - 5.1.1

I have a Rooted Nexus 7(2013), 5.1.1, build LMY48l.

I have been browsing trying to figure out if I can install and use Whatsapp on my tablet.
In Google play, it says I don't have the right version of Android.
I also do not want to use it with a cell phone, just my tablet.
Can I install and use it?

I was hoping that there would be some creative way of doing this.

I have a Lumia 800 with an unlocked bootloader and I installed the RainbowMod ROM. However I installed Whatsapp and it doesn't seem to work. It stays on the background image just before the phone number wizard.

Does anyone have this problem?

Whatsapp voice problems

Hello guys,
not sure if this is happening to everyone, on my Galaxy Ace 4, OS version 4.4.2, Whatsapp seems to record audio TOO DISTORTED, my voice gets recorded to badly that people doesn't even hear what i'm speaking about... (Comes out VERY loud), also this problem happens on whatsapp call.
When I restart the phone, Whatsapp voice works well for a couple of minutes, then the problem returns as mentioned.
I tried to uninstall/reinstall the app and clear the cache, but it doesn't fix the problem.
I dont think it is a hardware problem because other voice apps record normally.
If someone has this bug or knows how to fix it would be awesome.
