Clear Case or bumper + Tempered Glass -> max drop protection

Hi, i'm looking for a clear cover, or a bumper with max drop protection
If necessary i'll add a tempered glass.

Some option, but no one agree all my requirement:

1)Rhino Shield bundle .. as seen on youtube the best in drop test... but 47€ , 58$ + IMPORT FEE
is too much and no pubblic review..
only 2 video on youtube and not good comment on amazon..
I need a real opinion !

2)X-doria defense gear , good in drop test , near to impossible to get in Italy ( no worldwide shipping ) :crying: deprecated :p

So i found some alternatives option(reading the forum):

1)SPIGEN SGP SGP11317 Ultra Hybrid Galaxy S6 Crystal Clear -> 13€ but no one speak about this ... so i think is not the best in drop ...
2)SPIGEN Neo Hybrid CC -> lot of people says it's good, ok but i never seen a drop test -> 27€

I'm open to evalute other option!

AND FOR THE Tempered glass
I'm getting confused:

Some people says that it's ok for drop , and many others says " it's only an anti-scratch protection "

But , if it's necessary for best protection in drop, (and seeing rhinoShield I think a quality one will help )
i'm oriented on CaseBase® Premium -> 13€ or more famous NILLKIN CP+ for 15++€

Conclusion..
I'm forgetting something ?
Other clear cover it will be good ?

thinking about price...
quality cover + quality tempered = rhino bundle

Mobile network drop out on Custom Rom

Hi guys,

Need some advise on how to deal with this issues.

When I use stock Rom, it's all good. Perfectly fine. No drop outs on mobile network.

But when I flashed custom rom (Liquidsmooth, PureNexus, Chroma etc..), my mobile network keep dropping out every 1 minute. I'm on Optus Australia network. I tried all different rom and it's The same issues except stock rom.

Checked the radio for all stock and custom rom after flash, all the same radio.

Please advise what else can I do to find out what's the root cause?

IMEI null after drop and screen replacement

Hey everyone,

I recently dropped my Note 3, SM-N900 which I originally got from Vietnam. It was dropped, display cracked, all black. I had the screen replaced but the repair tech didn't realize it was the international version. He only had parts for the Canadian versions of this phone. He somehow managed to replace the display despite having the correct components. He fixed replaced the screen without replacing the bezel.

The screen worked great again but I realized my IMEI is now null or "Unknown".

I can't say whether it was still OK after being dropped because the screen was black and I didn't bother trying to call the phone.

I have found a lot of threads on IMEI unknown/null but read several warnings that this can be caused by either hardware or software. A software fix won't work if it is caused by a hardware problem.

Is there any way to tell what the cause is of an IMEI unknown?
Can you distinguish whether it is caused by hardware?

If it is caused by hardware, do I have any way of repairing this? Component replacement?

Could this be caused by the mismatched screen? This thread indicates a wrong screen could put too much pressure on some components, causing null IMEI....

Honor 6 Battery drop issue

Hi everyone :D

So, I recently encountered a battery issue with my Honor 6... Let me explain.

Device Details:
- Model: Honor 6 (H60-L04)
- OS: Stock Android 4.4.2 (EMUI 3.0)
- Never rooted or unlocked

I bought this device in June, at first everything was ok. For two months I used the best phone I could ever get for 299€, here in Italy.
Now, about a week ago, I started to notice some strange behavior of the battery. It was like suddenly the charge level dropped incredibly, leaving the device without energy pretty fast.

This morning was the worst. After an hour of standard usage (Wi-Fi ON, Social Apps, a couple of YouTube 1080p videos) the battery reached 89-90%. Before I go to sleep, as I usually do, I turned off my phone. Then, when I woke up and turned it back on, the battery level was 50%!!!

I know that this kind of behavior could be considered normal after a couple of years, for a Lithium battery, but I used this device only for TWO MONTHS! Do you have any idea if this is a common issue? Or maybe it's MY phone that is faulty. Hope you can help. :(

Sudden Battery Drop

Lately, I've been having sudden battery drops. Like today I was just scrolling through my phone like usual when I notice my phone was at 21%. A few minutes later, I check my phone to open an app and I drop down to 7% all of a sudden. Right when I'm about to go charge it, it dies. All this in under 5 minutes with that last drop in less then a minute. Is there a way to fix this? I just noticed there's also a blue blinking light after it dies.

Lollipop Roms drop connection when screen turns off

I recently tried to upgrade to CM 12.1 for my T Mobile S4 being used on the Wind Network in Canada. But when ever the screen turns off it will lose connection to the cellular network, when i turn it back on i get a bunch of notifications, sometimes it will buzz 2 or 3 times for the same notification. I tried searching but can't find anything pertaining to this. i also tried other builds, Slim LP, Resurrection and the GPE but still all show the same issue

Has anyone seen this before let alone know how to fix it?

Notification drop down shade bug

Since I upgraded to 5.1.1 I have this problem when I try to clear the notification shade I have to click on the clear button a couple of times before it actually clears it...I factory reset and reflashed tar a few times already and the problem still persists..

Anybody else have this issue?

International LG G4 does not connect to LTE after drop to 3G

I have an international LG G4 H815 on T-Mobile and the LTE works perfectly, but after it drops to 3G to connect to an incoming phone call, it won't want to connect back to 4G LTE even if I manually select LTE in the select networks menu.

Only a restart or selecting "LTE only" in the engineering screen clears the issue(but with LTE only I can't make or receive phone calls or send or receive text messages) but it is very annoying and I was wonder if anyone else had this problem.
