[Q]How to downgrade down to 4.2.2

Hello guys,I'm currently on the 4.4 version and I'm trying to downgrade my phone to 4.2.2.The NoriOS version
Why?Because I need OTG to work,also would like xposed to work too
I have tried to flash it from recovery but I get the "Installation aborted" message.
Does anybody know how to sucessfuly downgrade down?
There is already a downgrade thread here but the thread is full of offtopic and has zero revelant answers

Phone keeps shutting down

I have LG Nexus 4 16GB version. And it is shutting down every now and then by itself, specially while using any Google application. (eg: Google Camera, Chrome, )

It just shuts down. And I have to use power button to start it again. (No shut down animation, it just go dead)

The problem starts when I stopped the Google Now. Yes I am sure. Last night I stooped it from settings. And since then phone is shutting down by itself.

So should I again start it. But I don't want it.

Any help...??????

Where is the AOSP Volume Up / Down UI sound?

I have a personal hatred for the default Vol Up / Down sound in AOSP, and even though a few have asked before, no one seems to know where this file lives in AOSP. I want to change it so, so badly, and it doesn't seem to be in /system/media/audio/ui or any of the other /system/media/audio/ folders.

Anyone know where this file is?

My watch shuts down on its own after boot! Need help!

I already wiped data and cache at recovery mode but its still doing the same! I have no clue how this happened. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Note 2 sd card disconnect when put down. Adhesive

Okay, I recently replaced my SD card slot after it dropped in some water. When I put it down or tap on the back the SD card disconnects and reconnects. I think one problem might be is there wasn't enough adhesive left ot secure the sd card slut. Anyone know what adhesive you use to secure that slot?

At times, My HOX speaker is going down. What would be the problem?

[HELP] LG E975 shut down after bootlogo

my phone LG E975 keep shutting down after the LG animated logo.
Few days ago, I installed brain dots, and keep playing it until my phone got hot and then shut down, but I can turn it back on and everything worked normally, today I played again and my phone got so hot again and shut down.
but now, it always shut down again after the animated LG logo. sometimes I can see my wallpaper before my phone shut down sometimes it shut down in animated LG logo.

my phone is unlocked, rooted and has CWM recovery 4.1.2 Stock ROM

I tried :
- custom restore to restore boot img from my old nandriod backup. still dont work.
- flash custom kernel ( that I have tested it before and work great, Solid Kernel 0.8)
- wipe cache and wipe dalvik, after "starting apps" message then it shut down again.

is there a way to test which app that cause my phone to crash?
a log of what my phone did last time before crash?
If I can, I dont want to flash my phone

Notification drop down shade bug

Since I upgraded to 5.1.1 I have this problem when I try to clear the notification shade I have to click on the clear button a couple of times before it actually clears it...I factory reset and reflashed tar a few times already and the problem still persists..

Anybody else have this issue?

As you can see, all it does is dump the first 200MB of it to a file, so you don't have to download that if you can give me the image. ;) I really don't want to have to ship this thing back and wait.

You can just cut and paste this into a terminal if that's easier:

Phone shuts down suddenly.

Hey guys I'm experiencing an odd issue w/ my G3. My phone/battery dies sometimes when it's at 30-60%. this is not after prolonged use either so I don't think it's a battery % misread. I have multiple batteries and this happens with all of them, 1 is an oem battery and the other 2 are from anker. Swapping a new charged battery allows the phone to turn on normally at 100% and is good for rest of the day.

One thing that is unusual plugging in the phone with the battery that dies into a charger resuscitates at whatever % it died at and I can use it normally from that point on.

What do you think guys? What kind of issue is this?

Phone slows down to a crawl, but clearing apps fixes it

I'm currently running Clean Rom, but Fluent and CM do the same thing. After a bit my phone will slow WAY down. If I clear apps it speeds right back up. Rebooting fire the same thing. I have XPOSED and the Fix Lollipop installed. Is there something else I can do?

MBR Down A31S

hello i got a Q102 A31S tablet,

i flashed a wrong CWM .

i try to re flash it with firmwares for this model . i got 3 differents firmwares :

from livesuit all say " image file invalid"
from phoenixsuite " error 0x162 mbr down"

with phoenixcard, i can make a bootable microsd as "product" : the tablet boot with a red rectangle progress bar,
and stuck here,no progress, even if i wait 2 hours.

if i burn card as "startup" its boot from extsd and work,but with no intsd card mounted, 2go internal storage instead of 16go,
and apps/browser cant save downloaded content " no sdcard mounted"

i tried with FElix-master from github (windows version)

if i try to flash image or rewrite mbr with the command "ruby felix --mbr sunxi_mbr.fex"
i got a error , 'cant write new partition'

so i just wonder if the cause is the wrong CWM , or if my tablet is just dead ?
what can i do if programs cant rewrite partition ?

thanks if someone can give me any hint for a solution .

Slow Down Guys

I think a few of us are getting too carried away with root lol. I, myself, sure had to catch myself. Don't forget that most of us do not have a custom recovery which means if you brick your device, you'll probably have to pm the devs and if a lot of that happens, they'll end up with an even bigger inbox than before root lol but my main reason for the thread is that everybody is speaking on unlocking the bootloader but I haven't heard one word on a bump'd recovery like on the G3? Is that even possible on this phone? By the way, would it be risky if I tried the universal init.d app? Kinda wanna try L Speed on this.
