I want to squeeze a lot of battery life out of my phone. I want to know a good kernel that doesn't require much tweaking and I like CM12.1, as I use it on my G2. Any suggestions?

Battery with question mark (moto g falcon) after unlocking bootloader
After unlocking the bootloader and trying on CM 12 on my XT1033 I have now downgraded to stock Kitkat. However I have noticed that when my phone is off and connected to my laptop I get a battery with a question mark on the screen. The same does not happen when I connect the phone (off state) to a wall charger which start charging immediately. When the phone is on, it charges through the laptop just fine. I have had no issue with the battery until now. I cannot exactly pinpoint if this started after unlocking the bootloader or after downgrading to Kitkat. Plz help

Anyone know where I can get a true OEM battery for the note edge? I'm not sure I want to trust some sellers off of ebay.

Battery Issues
I know a lot has been posted about the N7 2012 battery problems. There are two major issues that I have been dealing with for well over a year now.
1. It takes 8 + hours for my device to fully charge. depending on how low the battery is.
2. My device will not charge with the screen on. if I play a movie with it plugged in it will not even hold a charge. I use TomTom for GPS & this is extremely frustrating.
It has been documented that the USB port could be the cause of this. I did have the USB assembly replaced once on it back in March of 2014. Also had the mainboard replaced twice in the same time period. Those repairs were due to my device not being recognized by any computer. Even after this series of repairs my device had the same issues.
Has anyone replaced the battery because of a similar issue? I am half tempted to scrap it be Android 5.0 performance suck s for an Asus Zenpad.

Battery life with advanced calling off vs on
My sister has the s6 on 5.1.1 with prepaid and you cannot turn advanced calling on as a prepaid customer. I read in the past that users that were having bad battery life were turning advanced calling on to help it. I also remember reading when the phone first came out people were doing the opposite...
So whats the answer these days? Is advanced calling worse or better for battery life?
The no contract plan is 5 dollars more a month so I don't want to move her to that plan to get advanced calling unless battery life is better. If its the same or worse it would just be a waste of 5 a month.

HTC One battery life (ROM, downgrade etc. questions)

My HTC One is now 2.5 years old and the battery life begins to drop. So now my questions are:
-Which rom has the best battery life?
-Which rom do you use and how does your battery perform?
-Is it useful to downgrade to an older version of android to increase battery performance?
I get like under 4 hours of screen-on time with brightness set to lowest. (I use the GPE Plus rom)

boot loop when battery is low?
When my battery gets low, < 10~15% my phone will suddenly shut down, boot up and then just continue to boot loop until I either do a battery pull, or plug in to a charger.
Sometimes the phone will show say 15% when this happens, then I plug it in to a charger and it will say 3% when it boots up and stays on.
Anyone else have this problem?

I received the HTC HD7 T9292 two days ago with windows phone 7.8 as OS but i note that the battery life is not good . ican't make one day sometimes i can't make 20h . i don't know why happen . 2.20.40.41 ze550ml battery backup is THE worst. inspite of greenify, amplify, apps ops, powernap, battery drains so much. Damn Asus!

The challenge being for some that neither of those will ship to the US (no one will internationally probably, because of our lipo shipping restrictions).

xperia s battery drain
Hi, after 3 happy years with my xperia s, here it is a major issue. Three weeks ago, in the middle of a phone call my xperia shuts down (battery at about 85%) and no mean to restart, it was like dead. No led if in charge or connected to my pc. After three days, a friend opened the phone, pull of the battery, reconnected the battery and, here it goes, it started again. But, another issue now, battery drains at 10% each hour in stand by. I changed the battery with a new one, same thing, i had a hard reset, same thing. Battery status shows 30% consumed by the screen (but it was only 15 min !) and google services 25%. Anybody has an ideea how to fix it ? Thanks for your answer.

Poor battery life on a rooted phone
Hi guys, I just bought a z3 from a friend, and I have some battery problem
On 5.1.1, my battery only last for a day, which is under my expectation for the z3. Note that I only use my phone when necessary, location, mobile data, nfc, bluetooth, wifi are always off when I don't need them. I lend my mother's z3v and its battery life was excellent, I compared the 2 phone by watching a youtube clip for 10 minutes, with only wifi on, the z3v only lost 1% battery while my z3 lost 3-4% each time. But according to cnet (sorry I can't post links yet), the z3's battery have a slight edge over the z3v. Why is this happening?
Anyway, I downgrade my z3 to kitkat, rooted it, install setcpu, greenify, wakelocks detector, I also use disable service. Like before, all the phone functions are off when I don't need them, all unnecessary apps are deleted. However, my phone battery is still nowhere near the non-rooted z3v. I have a feeling that the battery drain faster below 85%, when it reached 15%, it loses 1% every 30 seconds. Moreover, the z3v only loses 1% over night (sometimes not at all) in airplane mode, while my z3 loses about 3-4%.
What do you guys think? Is this a problem with the phone's battery? Can my friend damaged the battery in his six months of using?

Help screen replacement and battery
Heres my issue. i recently replaced the screen and digitizer and lcd....went well..the screen works when the charger is connected but it will shut off as soon as i put the battery in. i take the battery out while connected and it comes back on. I have two batteries...both charged up with my portable charger..but still not working correctly, Does anyone have anyone have any idea of what it could be...i dont want to pay the warranty charge for it..when its be cheaper to do it myself. HELP!!!!
can you add bigger mah battery on nexus 5
just wondering if the inside battery can be changed .. and if there is aftermarket bigger mah? tha can be used with nexus 5

Battery false charge note 5
Just got the note 5 today and I plug the phone up did a full charge but as soon as I unplug the phone battery says 94% I did a full reset and the problem persists. Is any one having this problem and is there a fix please help
