Sim and rear camera problem, any help appreciated!

Hi everyone!
I recently had problems with my M8 not seeing the sim card, I decided to reflash the firmware and upgrade from kitkat 4.4.2 to lollipop 5.0.1 as my M8 is somehow registered to germany and i'm in the uk and wont automatic update ( according to HTC), teach me to buy on the internet!! I also flashed the ROM with mike 1986's revolution, but still the phone would not recognise my sim! Lastly i replaced the sim reader (hardware) and it recognised the sim, happy days i thought! but the wifi started to play up and i found that the rear camera did not work! After reading these forum's someone had suggested that the kernal was not compatable! i have now set the phone back to stock following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&highlight=md5
In following this my OS is now 4.16.401.10 it was 4.16.401.7
now the sim is not recognized, and no rear camera!
I'm now struggling big time to get this to work at all, I am new to all of this so i have been reading through the forums trying to educate myself but i have managed to dig in deeper trying to understand MD5! My head is now melted :silly: but it has now come to admitting defeat and asking for assistance!!
Any suggestion would be great!!

Rear Camera glass broken

So, I just dropped my phone, and the glass covering the rear camera is broken now. The camera still works, but there is some noticeable blurring of the picture that the phone takes now. Is anyone aware of whether or not motorola(or anyone else for that matter) can replace this glass for me?

P780 - Rear camera not working

Hello, The rear camera of my lenovo doesn't work. It is model 2014 and after downgrade from kit-kat it just stops. I saw in some forums, that I have to change the apk file for the camera, but can't do it. Nothing happens when I install it normaly. Some say, that it has to be instalet via total comander or recovery consol. But I don't know how to do that. Any ideas?
S136 stock rom.

Rear camera doesn't work. 5.1 no root.

My rear camera was working last night and this afternoon it(Motorola Stock Camera) suddenly started telling me to restart the camera while Google Camera says that it can't connect to the camera. It's weird because I haven't dropped or treated the phone roughly lately and there haven't been any updates that would effect it.

Since the problem started I've done multiple restarts and completely wiped the device. The problem continues to persist. By experimenting with other camera apps I was able to figure out that the front facing camera still works fine. I'm worried that it is a hardware issue.

Dust in rear camera under the glass

I see no posts about this with the S6, so I am guessing it's rare. I went to take a pic this morning and noticed a dark spot showing up on the "view finder" (2 dark spots, as I later learned). I wiped the glass over the rear lens to make sure it was clean, but that didn't help. Sure enough, I have dust under the glass. I tried blowing it out with compressed air to no avail. I contemplated getting a replacement piece of glass for on eBay and just removing and cleaning it myself, but nahhhh. I am on day 82 of my "purchase", which was through Costco so it has 90 day no-hassle replacement/return, and was actually a free early upgrade promotion to a Droid Turbo that turned into an S6 after 2 bad Turbos (long story). Anyway, I just decided to replace it with a new S6 which luckily is still on OC3 so I can root and rom it (isn't the newest Verizon S6 firmware still not rooted?). As a bonus, the screen's color conformity on this S6 is definitely better than my last one. I could see green and pink hues on a white image pretty easily, but I can't really see green and pink hues at all with the new S6. Added bonus: 75 fewer days of usage on the battery.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. For what it's worth, my old S6 camera glass was never quite right - one edge was higher than the rest, like it was tilted. With a couple cases that were supposed to protect the camera glass, mine still rubbed because it protruded out farther than the case. So I'm guessing dust got in due to an improperly installed piece of glass, but I was too lazy to try and fix it. Thank you, Costco, for your 3rd party cellular kiosk and 90 day replacement warranty!

Rear Camera Problem

Hello,

So I've been keeping this to myself for awhile since I don't really use the camera on my phone that often, but it's starting to annoy the living hell out of me so here I am.

My i9301Is camera sucks. Specifically, the autofocus. It barely ever works. On the rare occasion that I want to take a photo, I am greeted by a a blurry viewfinder and I have to touch literally everywhere on the screen to find the green square, and even then I usually can't get the camera to focus on anything. This usually happens when the object is at a distance of 1 meter or further (macros are generally fine). Light conditions don't matter, it's always the same. Should I turn my phone in for repairs, or is every s3 neo like this?

Oh, it's the same on both stock and cm. Also tried several camera apps.

tl/dr: Focusing on the camera is iffy. Halp plz?
