Hello, I have Polaroid s20a tablet
.Android jelly bean 4.2.2
.stock rom
.rooted
.no custome recovery
.rockchip processor
[You won't find anything about it on the web even on Polaroid support site their are firmwares for s7,8,10 and others but no s20a]
1.PROBLEM
[I know a lot of people faced this problem but I really can't find any working solution for me that's why i'm writing this post]
I used font installer root app to install a new font and it overwrote two stock fonts [roboto regular-and another one but I don't remember the name], I didn't select them they were already selected so I thought it was ok, but it wasn't after it finished installing the new fonts it asked me to reboot and i pressed ok [I wish i didn't :( ], the tablet got stuck on the android logo for ever, but i have the two original font files i hope this would make it easier.
2.I TRIED
1.Stock recovery: wipe cach partition, factory reset. DIDN'T WORK
2.Downloading the tablet firmware. I DIDN'T FIND ANY FIRMWARE ON THE WEB
3.IDEAS
1.My friend have the same tablet as mine can i pull the firmware from his tablet and flash it on my tablet. And how to do it?
2.After 3 days of searching I knew that this problem happens when font installer root fail in setting the correct permissions for the new font files, i have the two original font files, can i use the adb tool to pull the new font file[which I installed with font installer] and push the two original font files to
/system/fonts , and will this fix the permissions or i will have to fix it my self, if it will fix the problem then how to do it, I know this is a lot but adb tool needs usb debugging to be enabled, so is there is any way to turn it on when the tablet is stuck on android logo.:silly:
