Random restart and bootloop problems

hi guys, i'm a note 3 international version(SM-N9005) owner. Since a couple of months ago my device updated to the last version of lollipop available in Italy (ITV) start to restart randomly and stuck in bootloop and the only way to revive the device is to do a factory reset from recovery. This situation is very frustrating and drives me mad because every time i lost all data. My device is full stock, i've never rooted it and never done any sort of modding including changing recovery. There's a way to avoid this situation?

Bootloop from editing build.prop

Hi guys,

I'm worried I really effed up as I've never been stuck in a bootloop before on any of my devices.

I was editing the build.prop to add dual window functionality to all of my apps as per this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4X2...dex=35&list=WL

And now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. I keep getting a message saying that Android is updating app X out of 38 and it goes back to the LG splash screen.

Sure enough there's a warning at beginning of that youtube video saying BE SURE THAT BUILD.PROP IS NOT TRUNCATED AND ITS PERMISSIONS ARE RIGHT BEFORE REBOOTING! - I'm assuming this is where I've gone wrong.

I'm using a Canadian version of the phone LG-H812 for Bell. Do I have to return the phone to stock to get out of this? How do I go about doing so?

Help!

Bootloop following contact with water? Or recent update?

Hello,

Here is my story : end of last wwek, my phone fall in a small amount of water (1cm) on the top (jack side). I wiped it very fast and use it for the next 30 min, everything is good. and then i let it 2 hours (charging or not i don't remember, i don't know if it can matter). After that i find it bootlooping :( was there an update, end of last week? Anyway i let it in that state at least 30 min and even more and then tried to restart it not better. I also tried a wipe cache and after that a factory reset, nothing...

Yersterday back to home, i tried to flash the 5.0.1 factory image ( didn't want to take the 5.1, because i feared a possible bad update on the image maybe) nothing better, even worst because after after some time of bootlooping, i've got the red light flashing :/
Same goes for the 4.4 flash but small miracle, it's working 4.2.2... During all those tries, i did some oem lock and unlock before and after each flash.

So my phone is working with the first version of android available, which is not the best.... I also tried the OTA update to the 4.3 and i also got stuck to a bootloop :(

So after that long story (sorry), I defer to your expertise because i don't know what else to do.

Please help :/

Stuck on Bootloop with Teamwin Logo

Hello
So, I first circumvented the unlocking of the Bootloader in order to root and run Titanium Backup and stuff (although I'm afraid I missed moving it outside my phone's storage ... oops :/) However, I wanted to install ParanoidAndroid and therefore followed a guide that told me to flash a boot.img from inside the PA zip via fastboot. Which I did. Well now, my device doesn't respond to anything I do. The top LED is on like it's charging, and the Teamwin Logo flashes for a second, then the screen goes back to black, and this process now repeats indefinitely. So to say, I can't enter Recovery or do anything of the sort.

Have I ****ed up or do I have to wait for the phone to discharge completely so I can boot it anew or something?

Note 2 stuck in bootloop

SGH-T889 4.3 completely stock phone decided to not boot up and it's stuck on the Samsung screen. I'm able to get to both the recovery and download mode, but nothing I've tried works.

I downloaded the 4.1.2 and 4.3 firmware from Sammobile and tried installing it using Odin 1.82; 1.85; 3.04; 3.06; 3.07; 3.10.6 and I always get failures.

Tried Kies 2 and 3, but it doesn't recognize my phone since and I can't do anything from there.

I also tried CF Root, but again Odin failures.

Any ideas?

Phone stuck in a bootloop after unlocking bootloader.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo (GT-i9060). I rooted the phone, then used an app named EZ unlock to unlock the bootloader. Apparently,
that did not work well, my phone got stuck in a bootloop just a few moments after unlocking the bootloader. I tried wiping the data in recovery mode. I tried wiping cache partition, but the phone would just show an android with an exclamation mark and reboot. I tried installing the stock rom using odin, but it didn't solve the bootloop. Help!!

[help] Locked bootloader, and stuck in bootloop with TWRP installed.

So I just bought a new phone and was getting ready to reset my Nexus 6 back to stock and relock the bootloader. Using Wugs toolkit I for some inexplicable reason relocked the bootloader before going stock. I got myself stuck in a boot loop but was eventually able to get into TWRP. Since I cannot unlock the bootloader without checking the box in the SW I want to flash a rom there but sdcard cannot mount in twrp and I am stuck. What should I attempt next or should I rma with Moto?

Nexus 7 (WiFi) Boot-loop issues resolved

After endless hours of researching various threads, on stack overflow and others, I think I have found the problem with the recent spate of bricked Nexus 7's.

It appears that something is corrupting partitions, what/why I don't know. However, the fix is fairly straightforward once you can get the device connected to your pc.
  1. First off I updated my Android SDK and ADB drivers.

  2. I then used the driver inspector element of WugNRT to identify and delete all previous instances of an Android USB device, this forced the install of the new ADB driver as soon as I attached the Nexus 7 in bootloader mode. Note, if possible, attach device to PC using original USB cable (this seems to solve a lot of problems).

  3. Once I confirmed that the device was recognized using fastboot devices, I locked and then unlocked the bootloader, which apparently resets the device to factory state and cures some corrupted partition issues. This clearly did something as most of the error messages I was receiving disappeared.

  4. I then formatted cache, system, user data, again to clear up any corrupted partitions

  5. at this point, I updated NRT and forced NRT to download and install the factory image, using the soft-bricked options.

  6. WIN!

FYI, the device took quite a while to reboot, the warning to be patient is valid, give the device at least 20 minutes. Make sure to unplug device from PC after NRT has done its magic. Cycle power if needed.

Hope this helps!

Bootloop, dead stock recovery.

OK, So I went to flash the latest M preview today coming from the latest CM nightly. Tried flash-all but, as always, got the system.img error. So I flashed everything again manually. Checked recovery and it only went to the dead android with the red triangle. Tried booting like normal, but its stuck on the new boot animation for 30mins or so.

After that I figured I would wipe and try to flash back to stock latest Google image. After flashing all parts manually for LMY48I, I'm still getting the dead android at recovery and stuck at boot animation, still the NEW animation, not the previous one from LMY48I.

Is there anything I'm missing here? I'll keep plugging away at it.

Thanks!

After rebooting the phone gets stuck in a boot loop on the LG logo. I can manage to access twrp but the touch is screwed up and the bottom half of the screen dont register correctly so i cant press the buttons needed.

Nexus 6 stock on Boot (not bootloop). Please help with ideas?

Hi,
So I wanted to prepare my unlocked Nexus 6 on T-mobile for my brother by completely un-rooting and then relocking to setup stock firmware. With the help of “Nexus Root Toolkit” it was a quick update. I simply picked up the latest firmware for t-mobile, then relocked - and off you go.

The Phone was ok for couple of days, but then google pushed new update – which would render my phone useless. After update Initially the phone went through the boot almost to the end, and then exception happened. Something about system UI crashing and then screen was unavailable. So I could not do anything on the phone.

I tried fixing with “Nexus Root Toolkit” (unlocking, rooting etc.), but at this point the phone is stock on booting (few colored dots signifying loading), but the phone never actually boots. Going to Factory reset or Recovery does nothing.

Is there anything else I can try please?

Thanks,
-Mariusz

Bootloop not fixed by flashing TWRP backup

I flashed a CM12.1 nightly on top of one that was a couple days old, and it wasn't playing nice. This was through CM's internal update function, which sets a recovery script and reboots into recovery to install it (which BTW failed).

So I went into TWRP and flashed it back to the backup I made not a couple hours earlier. But now I have kind of a bootloop. Most of the time, just the LG logo shows up, then it reboots back into recovery. One time it got stuck on the logo, and I was able to see it with ADB but it told me init.sh was missing if I tried to adb shell into it.

I have a few backups I've tried restoring, including /boot, /recovery, /system and /data, and wiping the Dalvik cache and /cache, but nothing is kicking this thing loose. I'm really at a loss to explain what's going on, and out of ideas right now.

Bootloop

Hey guys I have a galaxy s5 and I tried flash bliss pop Rom on it using mobile Odin. Everything went well until it booted up and the bliss pop symbol came up for a great amount of time such as 30mins. After I discovered that I took the battery out and rebooted what came up was the galaxy s5 Samsung powered by android also at the top of that screen was "KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" underneath that was "Set Warranty Bit : kernel. I have trwp recovery but when I tried to flash the same rom again the phone restarts into trwp recovery. Any help
