Gear Fit Xperia Z3+ cannot get it to pair

Hello, read here that some ppl have been successful in installing GF to Xperia, so i went ahead a purchased a GF. Xperia is running LP 5.0.2 and I have installed GFmgr 1.98 for lollipop on the Z3+ and have updated firmware from R350XX... BOA2, BNG2, BND8 using Odin as suggested on the various forum/posts located here on xda. The GF mgr starts up fine, however, I cannot get GF to pair. BT finds the GF but cannot pair.... I've read that other ppl have had this problem but could not find a post for their similar question. any help you can muster would greatly be appreciated. btw, I've spent the last 2 nights search xda various forums and have downloaded many apk's and firmware but to no success. Thanks to a great place...
