We are looking for an app development organisation to work with on a bespoke data collection app to complement our project, Plantwise (google it!) and thought we'd bring the Request for Proposals to XDA.
So...this request for proposal is for a data collection app. This app should allow agricultural extension workers (plant doctors) in developing countries to conduct and record an interview with farmers regarding their crop health problems. Following the interview the app should submit the form to our API and it must collate key information from the form and send it to the farmer through an integrated SMS function. The app must be tailored around the development context which includes poor or intermittent data access and users who are not familiar with digital technologies.
