Automatic HDR on 4.4.2

Hi all,

For some reason (since the last update is guess) for some shots (mainly outdoor) 2 pictures are taken.
I undertstand this is one under and one over exposed picture.
The display says "automatic HDR on - hold camera for shot" or similar.
Now, this is what I want to turn off !!!

I do not want any automatic HDR pictures - I turn it on when I want. By the way, composing a HDR of these 2 shots is kind of useless anyway.
And neither of these are good to keep since one of them is too dark the other is too light.

Any help on this one?

Galaxy A5 automatic goes to s cover view without s cover

Searched various places,but couldn't find the solution.
My A5 automatically goes to s cover view mode randomly. Is their any way to switch off s cover mode permanently? I have seen in many sites to disable sview/suspendwindow.apk etc. But couldn't find any of these system apps. I am running my phone in lolipop & rooted. please help.

Can I turn off automatic updates on rooted stock?

I'm not ready to flash a custom Rom yet. Is there a way to turn of automatic updates on a rooted device? I don't want lg to push an update I can't refuse that bricks my device because it's rooted.

[HOWTO] Stop Automatic Updates And Other Microsoft Nonsense in Windows 10

In Windows 10, you can't disable auto-updates and recently we got know that Windows Updates can block pirated games from running [which is a good thing] but also can disable unauthorized hardware.

We don't know what that means but it's possible that some random piece of hardware or peripheral may suddenly die. So it may be a good idea to disable auto updates. You also may not want Windows Update hogging your bandwidth.

Now there are 2 cases you my want to take:-

CASE 1 [Skip the useless updates and install only major/important updates] :-

If you want to skip the tiny updates but want security patches , etc then do this.

Set your Wi-Fi connection as metered.

Go to settings >>>>>> Network and Internet >>>>>>> Advanced Options >>>>>>> Then enable "Set as metered connection".

Also in your Windows Update Settings select the option "Defer Updates".

Now your bandwidth is safe(er).

CASE 2 [STOP HOGGING MY BANDWIDTH MICROSOFT] :-

In your Windows Search type - services.

Open the Desktop App.

Find the Windows Update service.

Right click, go to Properties and stop the service.

Then choose the startup type as - "Disabled".

Done.


NOTE :-

If you guys later need to run a windows update (after undoing the steps you took above obviously), it would be better to unplug "unauthorized hardware" and maybe also temporarily disable or uninstall its drivers (devmgmt.msc) and reinstall them after the update.

There are a lot more things to disable to ensure your privacy. Hopefully you didn't install Win10 with "express settings". If you did, may God rest your soul.

Flash Lumia 535 Dual sim to Single sim - Automatic keyboard add after restart

Heyy,

I just bought Lumia 535 Dual Sim, I hate the second sim icon in the top bar as I don't have a second sim active. I have been reading this forum for tutorials to flash my Lumia 535. (Just Read: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2515453)
I was wondering if it was possible to flash it with a single sim firmware (Rm-1091) so that the second sim icon disappears without losing any functionality. If so, can someone help me as when I type my product code in navifirm, it gives only one firmware.

Moreover, whenever I restart my Lumia, a persian keyboard is automatically added, any way to fix that?
I tried Hard resetting it but when it resets, the default language is Slovensky. I dont know why that is. I have to change it to English (United States) but speech has English (United Kingdom) by default.
