my two galaxy s3 can't detect sim cards

hello


I have two galaxy S3

and they both can't sim detect cards


things i tried :-
1- remove sim clean it
2- change roms
3- go back to stock rom
4- patched kernel and modem
5- factory reset , wipe data cache everything
6 - changed sim , tried the sim in other phones worked

Note pro rejects sd cards..

Weird sd card problem on my note pro (second one in a row actually). My note pro worked fine for several months, I use a 64gb sandisk in it and i use it fpr pictures and videos etc. Recently I started to get an error message from the system ui saying that the following apps were requesting access and that I need to creat contact using %s
This is my second tablet to start refusing to read sd cards. I know it detects them and it can even see them in recovery mode so it must be a system issue. Fixing permissions and doing a clean install of the rom did not help. Im thinking to try another rom but I am not hopeful based on the experience with the previous tablet (i shattered it on purpose so best buy would replace it, sadly that option is unavailable right now because I now live in china).
Has anyone else seen this issue and had any success resolving it? Right now I am having to do a workaround with an external card reader and it osn't a pleasant solution.
