Any luck downgrading from 5.0.1 back to kitkat 4.4.4??

Is there someone managed to do it. I already read a lot of post regarding downgrading to 4.4.4, some says theres no chance to downgrade if you upgraded OTA but some managed to downgrade. So can really downgrade back to 4.4.4?? I'm really confused right now. Lollipop on my device has a lot of issues. Battery drains much faster even on idle mode it sucks up my battery. Game run much lagger than before. Already did factory wipe and clear cache 3x. I never experienced this when i was on Kitkat 4.4.4 and i really want to downgrade.. many of the user who tried to downgrade (Note Edge) have their phone soft bricked due to bootloader or something..

So is there a possibility that i can downgrade back to 4.4.4?? Thanks!

S6 edge slow wireless charging from 2 days

Slow charging taking more than 2 nd half hour for wireless charging.
I am using wireless charging from 1 month everytime get fully charged within 1nd half hour, from two days getting slow charge.any one have idea about this problem?

Unrooting from a backup system.img

So I have a backup system.img and could root, but I'm curious if anyone using a Sprint phone has successfully restored their device using a backup system.img. I understand why and know that it should work, but I'm curious if anyone has actually tried it, successful or otherwise.

google photos wont delete from SD card now.

Out of the blue, my google photos app wont delete from my SD card anymore. Says: Can't delete item. Photos doesn't have access to delete item on your sd card. Go to the gallery app to continue deleting.

I am on Alliance V8 for a while now. No updates or patches installed between when it worked and when it didn't. My guess is that its the app but is there a way around this?

Did everything, last install from zip, yet not rooted

I did everything, boot-loader unlock, adb download install in pc, install custom rom CWM/TWRP using pc's cmd. Than install ZIP from SD card. It shows me SUCCESS. But when I power on my device It looks like before, no change done. I checked if rooted or not, it shows NOT ROOTED. Why I am failing. After updating to 5.1.1, phone is unresponsive from time to time

Hi Guys,

I recently updated to 5.1.1 and I have nothing but problems. The phone is rooted. From time to time, I would have to do a soft reset (volume down + power) to turn the phone back on.

I have tried resetting the phone and clearing the cache but the problem persists. Any suggestions would be great!

Can I change from China version to other country version?

All Android phones in China comes without Google Play or any Google services.
It seems the only option is to root and install the google apps, but I was wondering what happens if I change the stock firmware from China to another country (let's say Hong Kong for example) in order to download play store. Any help would be helpful thanks!

Downgrading from CM 12.1 to stock 4.4.4

Hey, I successfully flashed CM 12.1 on my Moto E XT1022. Before doing that I ,using twrp, made a backup of unlocked+rooted stock rom 4.4.4.
Now I want to revert back to 4.4.4 Kitkat from CM 12.1. Will the following procedure brick my phone ?

1 - reboot into recovery TWRP
2 - wipe data,system,cache,dalvik, internal storage
3 - restore STOCK ROM BACKUP using TWRP
4 - reboot

remove cm 12 nightly from phone

i recently flashed the cm 12 nightly rom to my lg g3 rooted att phone..
i can no longer go into recovery mode and when i turn off the phone,i need to remove the battery and re insert it in order for the phone to start again..
i would like to remove this rom and replace it cloudy rom,but i can't get the phone into recovery mode...message says i need root access...help!! i am new at this

How to stop google Play Store from updating my to phone app

My Nvidia Shield Android TV 500GB is unlock and rooted. I did have the full custom Android 1.8 rom installed and went back to stock but left bootlocker unlock and rooted. Now my box is updating the Google Play Store app the the latest version which is for the phone.

Can someone help me to stop it from updating?

Run App(s) from Pin Locked Lockscreen

I want the ability to run specific apps from a pin or pattern locked lockscreen.

I am rooted and running KitKat. I am aware of the "Quick Access (from Lockscreen)" module but from what I understand...it only runs whatever app was currently running over top of the lockscreen. It does NOT give you the ability to run (for example) 2 specific apps and switch between them. I also tried a different approach and used an app locker but the apps I tried locked individual apps so you had to unlock every app which is a huge pain.

Whatever the solution is...I do want to use a pin or pattern lock. Any suggestions out there?

The stagefright threat, etc. is forcing me to finally move to 5.1.1. Because one misstep could mess things up, I'm looking for "reassurance" that below is the correct procedure. (I've only upgraded android versions once before and am nervous ....)

Starting point:
- Rooted nexus 5, kitkat 4.4.4,
- Xposed framework installed
- twrp 2.8.6.0 recovery installed
- adb and fastboot on Windows pc

Need to: (please correct if wrong steps)
1. Make nandroid and Titanium backups

2. Download 5.1.1 (LMY48I) from

4. Flash downloaded 5.1.1 (LMY48I) from within twrp recovery

Questions:
A. Is 5.1.1 (LMY48I) the correct stagefright patched image for nexus 5?
I'm a T-Mobile subscriber but bought my nexus 5 from Google not T-Mobile. So is this the correct image or the T-Mobile specific 5.1.1 one?

Data recovery from internal memory is it possible ?????

Moto g 1st gen totally broken not powering on and usb debugging is off during accident, There is no way to power on the phone its damaged badly and i checked it to local repair shops they said its impossible to repair the phone.

Is there any way to recover the data from internal memory?

Okay I remember when I had the s6 when checking battery usage cell standby was always on top and now after a day with the Note 5, I'm noticing cell standby also shows high usage.

Is anyone else having this issue?

when i'm trying to restore it, it just says i need to confirm it on phone, but nothing appears on phone.

titanium says it can't open the file, also.

usb debugging enabled, tried z3 and z3+ drivers.

adb device recognized.

Downgrade Note 3 SM-N9005 from Android 5.0 to 4.4.4

After Android 5.0 upgrade my Note 3 has many bluetooth problems that stops me from using my smartwatches (Moto 360 and Pebble Time). Frequent dropped connection on bluetooth, both moto 360 and pebble can`t connect, i have problems with my car stereo, and sometimes when i push the back or home button on an app, nothing happens. Tried everything, wipe cache, phone reset, deleted cache from the Bluetooth and Bluetooth test app, factory reset the pebble and moto 360, no luck. :(
Android 5.0 is a big mess and i can`t use my bluetooth devices, that worked perfect on Android 4.4.4.
My phone is still in warranty, i have never done root on it, only installed stock updates, OTA, from Samsung.
I want now to downgrade back to Android 4.4.4 stock with ODIN. I want to download stock Android 4.4.4 for my Samsung Note 3 and flash it with ODIN. Can i do that?
Please help, Android 5.0 messed up my phone.
