Hide Emulator Status

Hi, I have a question about hiding the fact that I am using an emulator, not an actual android device when playing a game. I have tried Genymotion, Bluestacks (rooted), Droid4x, and Andy to install a game called "Iruna Online". However, since the latest update of the game, I haven't been able to open it on any emulators. When I try to open the application, it says "Not available on this device". I'm guessing the game is blocking PC users.

The first answer I found on the Internet was to change the build.prop file. After changing the values to that of a Nexus 7 (supported by the game), I still got the same error message (I cleared the cache and reinstalled). I even tried looking at the website "What is my Android version?", where it told me I had a Nexus 7.

Frustrated by this, I looked for more answers and ended up installing Xposed. I decided to try to hide my device information from Iruna so it wouldn't know I was on a PC. I opened the app again, and found another error message "No SD card is detected". So I went back and forth for about an hour, changing the Xposed permissions - I would either get the "not available on this device" or "no sd card is detected" error.

The only thing I can think of is that I'm editing the build.prop incorrectly (for some reason I can't find ro.product.manufacturer, is this normal?). Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Android Studio: Emulator Internet Connection Help

Hey everyone,

I'm having a problem in the Android Studio emulator. I'm trying to connect to the internet through the emulator (on the app I created). Everytime I click on the button to go on the internet, it says that the app has stopped running. I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me with this.

Thanks!

[Library] [Android] RoboType -- The android text typing emulator

I saw many websites having the feature of text to be typed alone.
I liked this, and searched and found nothing similar for android, so I made a library for this.

This one is called RoboType

About RoboType :
  • The world's first Library/Module to implement interactive text inside your android app.

  • It stimulates text typing.

  • Easy to Implement.

  • Compitable with all android versions.

  • Light-Weight.

  • Open-Source.

How to implement :
  • Download RoboType.jar

  • Implement the RoboType.jar or import the lib project

  • Inside your activity add this method :

    Code:

            public static void Robo(String x){

            YourTextView.append(x);

            };

  • In your onCreate or wherever you want add :

    Code:

        RoboType.update(message, fullClassName, speed);

Note : We recommend to use 100 speed Note : In fullClassName you need to write like this com.example.MainActivity

Don't forget to import the class "RoboType".

Update function explained :

Code:

    update(message, className, speed);

This is the function used to apply the module. use it in anywhere you like (button listener, onCreate...etc).

Parameters :
  1. message : string to be displayed.

  2. speed : the speed of displaying text in milliseconds.

  3. classname : the activity where you will display this text (i.e. com.package.class)

Algorithm :
  • it get the text from user.

  • split the string to single characters.

  • using reflection to access the other class.

  • invoke the method that set new character each certain time.

  • use a handler to control the process.

Changelog :

v1.0 :
  1. added jar.

  2. added project source.

  3. use reflection to invoke.

  4. initial release.

Notes :
  • This is still in early stage of development.

  • A demo Application for this library is available on Playstore

  • A Youtube video showing it on action

  • The Source code on Github

Play! PS2 Emulator on Nexus Player.

Although the developer is working hard on the emulator he hasn't been able to focus the extra time needed to get out to work on the nexus player. I'm one of the moderators on the community and I'm trying to help out by finding developers that are interested in helping out with the project that can get it working on the nexus player and if they are able to make an Android TV interface for full compatibility. This is a great project and has a lot of potential so any one willing to lend a hand please take a look at these project on GitHub HERE and the Google+ community for it HERE.

Here is a logcat of the app crashing on the nexus player I would be happy to give any other logs out testing required to developers needing them to fix the problem. https://paste.ee/p/SjQPr

Thanks a lot any help would be appreciated! I'll be sure to keep this thread updated once things are working properly on the nexus player.

Creating an Orignal Xbox Emulator for Android Devices!

First and foremost mods forgive me if its in the wrong area.If it is then please by all means correct my wrong.
Thank you.

So as many of you are aware there is a An emulator for the follwoing consoles on Android:

Psp via PPSSPP
Nintendo Ds via DRICAST DS
Ps1 via Psxe
N64 via (cant remember the name)
And For dreamcast

Now android devices by my knowledge can not at all emualate PC,PS2,PS3,PS4,X1,X360,Wii,Wii u,vita,3DS for now.

But there are 2 consoles which i hoping we can create emuators for in the nearby future.

These 2 consoles are the XBOX(ORIGINAL) AND the GAMECUBE.

Now there already is a Gamecube Emualtor called Dolphin so i doubt anyone wants to create a new one for that but itd be awesome if someone did do that since the Dolphin Emulator is in its Alpha stahes(it cant play any Gamecube games).

The only other console which i think Android can emulate is the orignal XBOX.
Now i thought this would be impossible 2 years ago but now look I JUST COMPLETED SHENMUE 1 ON my phone! The whole damn game via the reicast emulator!

I think or hope that someone sees this thread and perhaps also wishes to play xbox games on their mobiles.

Now forgive me if my knowledge is incorrect but i personally believe that highend androids (think S5) might be able to run xbox games but my questiojs are as follows:

Is anyone working on creating an Xbox emulator for android?
Is it even possible?
if yes what type of devices could run such a machine? My samsung s5 maybe?
Is anyone else intrested in creating said emulator?

Id love to hear what you guys think of a xbox emulator.I mean guys look at Reicast i mean did you think THAT would be possible 2 years ago? I sure diddnt!

But id love to see this thread take off and maybe have people create a team who might want to create such a amazing emulator!
