Having troubles installing custom rom (Resurrection remix 5.1.1)

I haven't installed any custom rom before so I tried to do it without making a nandroid backup and I might have not particular attention to some key instructions for HTC devices before installing. It is s-on, when I try to root from recovery it just reboots(can't get in the system now since I damaged it trying to install rom). What do I have to do, bootloader is unlocked, when I try to install rom it says the recovery is using the new storage layout layout and your rom is not. I have tried finding old storage layout recoveries but when I flash them, it doesn't boot to recovery.

Troubles in Moto G

Dear all,
I have been using Moto G 1st gen Android 5.0.2 from 2013.
I am listing out the issues that i am facing.
1. Facebook contacts and birthday calendars are not syncing.
2. In phone contacts, multiple contacts cannot be deleted. i.e, we have open each and every contact to delete.
3. In Calender, month view do not support in landscape orientation.
4. Some if i open some app from history, it is not opening. it hangs with a blank screen. then i have to clear recent apps and try again.
5. Google chrome is crashing.

[Q] ATT signal troubles on H815 US

I purchased my phone (h815 US model) online from swappa and I love the feel and look of the phone, Love the camera, BUT my phone wants to stay on hspa all the time. Where i had 3 or 4 bars on my s5 active I get HSPA unless I go in to settings and sellect ATT:LTE from network operators which only last until my phone goes to sleep then im back on hspa. Anyone else experiencing this? Or anything i should try? Thanks in advance for any help!
