What happened to the 5.1.1 update?

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread trying to find out more about the 5.1.1 update for our phones. Personally, 5.0.1, for me at least, has been a complete bust where my battery life has really taken a hit. I went from being able to use my phone for 17 hours with nearly 5 hours of screen on time (I live in an area where the reception is spotty and I listen to music nearly 24.7), to about 12 hours with about 3 hours of screen on time, with the battery saver. I've been reading the other forums and apparently, with this update, the battery life is just as good as Kit kat and the recent apps lag is gone.

I recently also heard that Samsung is starting to ask that carriers stop selling the Note 4 is also shocking.

So, that leaves me with the question, "where's our update?" because if they keep screwing us over, how are they going to have loyal users?

What's happened to 5.1.1 update

Is it because when we get it our battery problems will be solved and battery life will beat note 5... Strange that full price unlocked phones still no updates but usa carriers have. Disgraceful really... One thing I really like about the iPhone upgrades are fast and for every model with support for older models at least 2 or three years

Strange thing happened to me tonight!

Hello All!!

Tonight*I was reviewing different YouTube videos and I clicked on one and it started playing one of those ads that you get every once in a while in front of the actual video and all the sudden I saw the screen go blank and I started seeing what appeared to me to be like a dos window for lack of a better definition with some typing scrolling across and it said something to the effect of personal data gathered or something like that and really freaked me out so I pulled the battery & took my sd card out and booted it back up but I'm not sure exactly what the hell that was.

Have any of you seen anything like this?

I'm really concerned because I have a lot of personal and customer data on my phone.Is there anything I can use to scan it to see if something was able to be *installed? I don't think it had enough time to get any information out just in case it was able to install something but it really freaked me out.*I'm a microsoft network administrator but androids are out of my knowledge base.Any information would be greatly appreciated!Regards

An app that solves the "What happened last night" dilemma. Users are able to keep track of all texts, phone calls and new contacts sent and received during the Blur period. Also, the app keeps track of where you went by utilizing it's map feature. Finally, don't ever forget where you parked your car with our "Where's My Car?" feature. What the heck just happened?

I'm waiting on hold, I finally get a person and read my account number, then suddenly the phone makes a loud beep, the call is disconnected, and the camera LED comes on full brightness :). No power on earth seemed to be able to turn off the LED, so I power cycled the phone, and it appears to be back to normal now. Is there something I could have ear pressed that could do that?
