Audio programs just stop

I moved to the G4 from the Note 3. I am experiencing something that has never happened on the Note 3. I listen to a ton of audio programs. Some are downloaded podcast that I listen to on PocketCast, others are streaming live radio on TuneIn Radio. It has even happened listening to live baseball games on MLB AtBat.
The problem is that for no reason at all the audio will just pause at random times and I have to turn on the screen and open the app (or the pull down screen) and un-pause it.
I haven't seen any complaints from others so I doubt it is a G4 specific problem, but has anyone else experienced this?

I8190 boots grey. Just Download Mode.

After flashing OMNI I lost the IMEI, trying to recover it. I did a lot stuff.

After "restoring" the EFS folder via CWM. My phone Bricked i think.


When i press POWER i turns GREY something with squares. Just that. I try recovery and it is the same screen.

It just let me go onto Download MODE, i have tried with ODIN. with several Stock roms but nothing. Just FAIL after a while in odin.

What can I Do? I reinstalled the Drivers, Have KIES reintalled too. Tried All USB ports.


Is there any solution? is a brick? im kinda poor so this S3 is like gold for me right now :(

the seller told me that's the from recall. it's brand new never used and never open (0 not cheap tho). Anyway, I heard something bad about the recall item said they are very easy to be brick? So when I got the tablet what I should do first?

Just a question about porting Sense 6-7

Hi guys,

I have question:

Why any developer doesn't ported any ROM like Sense 7 ? Beacuse I think that there are like 10 ROMs with same features and looking the same stock Android. I tested all the ROMs available and I don't found any unqiue outstanding features. Without gapps all the ROMs have the same performance and the same stock apps execpt CM but there are just stock modified with little features compard with Sense 7 or touchwiz. I know that you will say that Sense 7 has bloatware but isn't to much to slow down the phone or anything and some options from Sense 7 are useful and more beautiful apps than stock google apps like browser (heavy), or music, dialer, contacts etc... and I know that you will say why I don't make a port: the answer is simple: I don't know how. I don't have any knowledge about how porting works or anything even with tutorials.

So, I am asking if any developer/ users will be interested to install/port Sense 7 or another OEM software to our Moto G.

Just a music and app device?

Awhile ago I traded my AT&T Note 2 to my mother in law for her upgrade. Yesterday she upgraded and I got it back. I threw a custom ROM on it and brought it back to life. My 4 year old wanted to play with it so I let her. As she was playing with it she came dangerously close to making an emergency call (even without a sim, they still do that).

What I am trying to figure out is if there is a ROM already or how hard it would be to create/modify one to remove the phone aspect. Essentially making it just a music/movie/app device. Like an iPod. With WiFi, play store, YouTube, video player etc.

Its time to change my phone finally. After eagerly waiting for the Note 5 for a while now, I was looking at the specs of the phone but, is it just me or does the S6 Edge+ specs although almost identical to the Note 5, is better? Or am I missing something here?

At almost 0 it quite a hefty investment! :)

Just got a Android 5.0 warranty replacement for my rooted 4.4.2; options?

So I just got a 5.0 Lollipop SM-G900A, Baseband G900AUCU4B0F3 warranty replacement for my old rooted 4.4.2 SM-G900A AT&T S5.

I want to get root back. I don't care about warranty since I'm technically out of warranty now and they replaced my phone past warranty (I was really nice to the friendly female CSR I got on the phone). I believe my options are:

Live without root
downgrade to 4.4.2 and root with towelroot without tripping knox
root 5.0 but trip knox

I'd like to do number 3, but I don't know what the best method is at this point. I haven't kept up on any developments in root area since I rooted my 4.4.2 and was supremely happy with it ever since. I know that flashing an already rooted ROM is one of the options but honestly I've gone down the custom ROMs road before on previous phones and I know if I start that again I'll be going through tons of ROMs looking for the one I like best and I've been so happy with rooted vanilla stock that I don't want to take the time to go down that path right now if I can help it. Is there a way to root 5.0 directly if you don't care about Knox/warranty?

I fully realize that I could RTFF and figure out what my answer is but I'm hoping someone who is current will take pity on me and point me in the right direction and cut my RTFF down from hours to minutes. TIA for any help.

Just want to confirm if this is a hardware issue.

My nexus 7 2013 stopped connecting to wifi a week ago. Then realized bluetooth doesn't work. Wifi won't show any networks; it just fails to turn on and shows no mac address. I thought this must be a weird software issue that some config got mucked up. This happened with running stock 5.1.1 but then tried cm 12.1 to see if it will fix it. Before trying cm I did a factory reset (was stuck at the wifi signin screen) and I cleared the cache and data and cleared dalvik cache. So then I tried CM but unfortunately, this also happens. This has me pretty much convinced that it is a hardware issue and something is wrong with the wifi/bluetooth chip.

Just wanted to see what others thought. After the above, I can't see how this isn't a hardware issue. I was looking and motherboards aren't too expensive and it doesn't look too hard so I might try that.


Oh a weird thing, in this state it is causing an excessive battery drain even when off. It's been off for 8 hours at 100% charge and now is at 74%. So I'm keeping an eye on it to keep it charged until I get a motherboard replacement.

Just got a new Z3 and want to root

So I just got my new Sony Xperia Z3 but unfortunately it's D6603 model so no 32GB goodness which means I probably need Link2SD as I'll end up with probably about 10GB user available storage after all the updated which means I need to root.

I haven't even turned the phone on yet, it's still sitting there charging, but let's assume for a moment that it's not yet on Lollipop and still running KitKat which should mean I have various easy rooting methods at my disposal, right?

So what I'm asking is what would be the easiest (and most universal/in other words covering the most versions) root I could use.
I don't care about custom this or whatever, I want to keep my phone as stock as possible, I just want to be able to use Link2SD and maybe Titanium Backup, so if possible I'd prefer not to add a custom recovery or mess with anything beyond getting root access for those 2 apps.

I know I will have to check the bootloader first (I assume it's already unlocked though given the phone it's an international version that isn't carrier locked but that's a different problem anyways). But after that is there a recommended one-click root to use that alters as little as possible and covers as many android versions as possible? Or something almost as easy?


I don't want easy because my technical knowledge is lacking by the way, I want easy because the fewer steps there are the less I can screw up and I'm terrified of bricking the phone....so terrified I've resisted rooting my previous two android phones even after getting replacement phones, but I really need Link2SD now.

Mysterious Bug ( Just loading when its not awake )

Hey , i got kinda problem with my Sony Xperia Z3 compact .
I tried many things to flash a new Software over it , but my pc wont recognize the phone .. I tried many drivers and different PC´s or USB cables to find out whats wrong ,
The crazy thing is , when my Xperia is below 1 percent and it shuts down , i can load it until it has 100 percent again ... but just in this case ! Otherwise it wont load . It will show me that i only got 1 percent but
it leasts for about 2 days .. i got no clue whats wrong with my Xperia .
It would be very nice if someone could help me :S

Android Auto headunit vs just tablet?

Hello all, I had a Son XAV-601BT, which was supposed to be a very promising and awesome android headunit, but ended up being a dud because mirrorlink doesn't work well, etc, I can only connect my phone with bluetooth and play music through it. I just got a Nissan Titan and want to up my in car experience. I had a good bit of audio equipment I took out of my old 240sx and was going to reuse it, which included the 601BT, 2 kicker amps (one for the sub, another 4 channel for speakers), and polk audio speakers, but the headunit is basically.. meh.

I was wondering what would be the ideal route to go to get the best experience. I know they have head units that have all the android auto stuff built in, but since I already have a nice amp I can use to drive the speakers, would I be better off just using a tablet and getting things connected up that way? I would like to be able to utilize good quality voice for commands and phone calls, but I am not sure if using a tablet for that would work (using the phones capabilities through the tablet to make calls and texts via bluetooth or some other way.)

If anyone has any recommendations on how I can have a nice sized mounted capacitive screen to control my audio (spotify), navigation, and be able to use voice commands (though I could technically just make them through my watch as I have been), I would love to hear some suggestions. If the best route to go would be an actual android auto headunit, then so be it, but I would like to know if alternatives can do this.

Is it just me or is the M9 not that loud?

I'm coming from an S6 edge and max volume on the m9 seems to be only around 80% of the max volume that the S6 edge had. Side by side comparison the s6 seems much louder especially when it comes to notifications.
Just trying to figure out if my unit might be defective or if its normal.

Phone turn on just when plugged in

Hi guys, im facing a problem with my M7 a couple months, it only powers on when charging, tried to charge it for a entire day, but doesnt work. Tried the volume down + volume up + power keys for 2 min, and other stuff, but none of it have worked.

Everytime i turn on the battery shows a different value. if i plug off the wall charger, the phone suddenly shuts down.

What can it be?

There is no official confirmation about the launch of Galaxy Note 5 but various online news portals claiming the release date as on 13 August 2015. But generally, Note series always launched in the month of October!

Ive tried a lot of stuff... I installed the stock firmware lollipop 5.0 with odin... and i just installed the update 5.1.1 and atill have this issue... ive been switching roms.... Flashing modems and bootloaders and nun change... I mean the internet doesnt run that slow but it suposed to be LTE since im in a good lte area... Maybe my s5 have another problem but i want to ask here first to see if anyone can help....Thanks in advance
