Xperia M2 will be updated to Lollipop 5.1 soon?

I read somewhere that Xperia M2 will be updated to Android Lollipop 5.1 soon, is that right?
And the thing is that I just rooted my phone so I will not get the update via System update, right?
So how can I get the update? :(

I'm newbie here so please help me if you could.
