Is there any way to root and unlock bootloader

so i some posts on the forums and what i see is that there is no way to do it, is that true?

Cant unlock bootloader?

I got my LG G4 yesterday and its time to fiddle!

But I have been stopped before I can even begin.

I have the H815 EU model on O2 UK. I checked the "Allow OEM unlock" setting in Developer Options, got into fastboot and then got told by the LG website that my phone is not allowed to be unlocked!

Is that it? End of the line?

Cannot get Unlock code

Lock Screen Fingerprint Unlock

I have my lock screen set for fingerprint. If the device is shutdown or restarted, the lockscreen asks for a fingerprint. After that if the power button is pressed to shut off and lock the screen, the next time it is turned on the lockscreen asks for just a swipe. It wont ask for a fingerpring again until the system is restarted again. Anyone else have this problem? Solutions?

cannot sim unlock my htc one for the life of me, any help?

ok, so i went about to sim unlock it. unlocked bootloader, rooted, tried solutions 1 and 2 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2586704 without success. i cannot s-off my phone to do all that fancy stuff, but i have tried flashing different roms. NOTHING seems to be working. i also tried using an ruu tool, but every time i relock my bootloader, i can never get it to boot. it always boots back to fastboot. heres what the fastboot says, too lazt to take a picture:

NFC Unlock

Has anyone been able to successfully set up NFC unlock ( via the Smart Lock function in Lock Screen ) feature on this phone. I tried and could not get it to work. It is not NFC or the tags I am using - because I have been able to set up custom tasks using the same tags - It is just the unlock that isn't co-operating.

Sim unlock trouble

Hi you guys, I bought my Idol 3 on Vodafone Portugal and they charge more than the phone's price for unlocking it for other companies. So I tried sim-unlock.net which couldn't give me a code, even though the IMEI number was correct, so I received the refund.

Subsequently, I paid unlockphone.com to calculate a code for unlocking my SIM card and they gave me a 10 digits number and another one in case the first didn't work. I tried both and they failed unlocking. Now only 4 tried remains for me and I'm really worried there's no way to unlock it. A friend of mine with the same phone went to a phone shop and they promised that in one hour it'd be done. One hour later they said it'd be needed more and my friend got back his Idol 3.

Now I wonder if it's really unlockable. Have any of you have been through this?

Hey everyone -

The title says it all! Reading, searching, and experimenting for hours... no dice. Time to ask for help.

I'm trying to unlock the bootloader of my Shield Tablet, but no matter what I do, I can't install the Universal Naked Driver (which I understand to be step #1). I've tried to troubleshoot this to no avail (including turning off driver signature verification, etc.)... Windows 10 refuses to do it, complaining that "Windows was unable to install your Shield Tablet. Windows could no find driver software for your device".

I'm posting this question *here*, because it makes me wonder if something has changed in the last firmware update from Nvidia (I'm running the very latest - LMY48C.35398_567.2193)... so here's my question: has anyone out there tried to root (which requires bootloader unlock) a Shield Tablet with this firmware? If you've been successful, could you point me toward a tutorial I haven't yet read? Thank you!

Is anyone else having trouble with getting this feature to work? I have my android watch paired, and my home set as a trusted zone, but still have to enter my pin every time.

Problem to unlock bootloader

I realize the S6 Edge+ has only been out for a few days, but has anyone achieved carrier unlock with their S6 Edge+?

I can live with temporary no root (though Chainfire may have achieved root? buy sacrificing Samsung Pay?)
and I understand the 40 day TMobile, active usage requirement before being able to request carrier unlock from TMobile
However, I wish to use a fully paid off device on another carrier (Straight Talk AT&T). I should be able to use the device as how I see fit if the device is fully paid off and I have no further obligation to TMobile...

Any successful 3rd party unlock service or successful carrier unlock by any methods posted?

Oem unlock

I saw this in development options, as far as I know you can not use fastboot on samsung. Tried "abdominal reboot bootloader" and all it did was reboot. "Adb reboot download" takes me to odin. So what does this mean? Is this left over code from LP, or does this simply prevent you from flashing odin images, so if it was stolen someone couldn't just flash stock firmware and call it a day?
