should I swap my m9 with G4 or keep it?

So I am trying to get all the information I need before jumping from M9 to G4, I generally never change a phone before a year cycle, but the M9 poor camera in low light, very warm temps in summer days, and more specially the small screen (for my astigmatic eyes) are pushing me toward a bigger screen and some goodies lie better camera, so the G4 is here for that.
But in another way I red so many reports about touchscreen issues, and lately people are saying it could be hardware fault, and the volume of the earphone is not impressive, that I don't now anymore!
Today a dude was ready to swap his only 1 week old G4 with my M9 for only 40$ and because I hesitated he sold it to someone else, now if I want to swap it it will be with a new unit and I will have to pay about 100$
I don't see other phones incoming that could suit me, note 5 will be very expensive and no sdcard, motorola phones are not sold in my country and Nexus 5 2015 will not have sd card too.
So is it worth it to swap my M9 to G4(and pay 100$)?
I plan to install Xpirt Sense 7 ports, I prefer Sense launcher.
Still have a last question: is the BT autoconnecting? I mean my M9 autoconnect to my car's BT everytime I start the Car app, it was not the case with the S6, I tried numerous car apps with autoconnect option but the S6 BT didn't want to autoconnect, I hope the G4 is like M9

help internal to external memory swap

any way to force change the system to recognise external sd card as internal and vice versa???? i dont want to use lind2sd doesnt work orfoldermount which works but is too demanding when you give this to a child who downloads everything.

Low Network Signal After Screen Swap

I have a European SIII LTE running on the Virgin Media (EE) network.
I recently swapped the cracked digitizer for a new original Samsung replacement one inc frame and screen.
I tried to use an old i9300 screen first but without success as the mobo has a different layout and some of the connections did not sit right.
Anyway, the phone pre-swap was on the original android version (4.1?) and is now (thanks to Kies!) on 4.4.4.
Since fitting my old mobo and other transferrable components to the new digitizer frame, my network bar is generally sitting at one bar with the odd surge and then drop back to no or little signal. I also noticed that the device is slightly hotter than normal at the base of the phone but then again I have been using it for longer periods than normal as I was reinstalling my software and data etc.
Device status shows typical values of -110 dBm and asu hovering around 2 to 4.
I have checked the internal antennae cable connection and all seems ok.
I tried the antennae from the i9300 handset and that was the same. I was very careful removing the old i9305 antennae and it is not twisted or bent and is tucked neatly into the channel.

Is there something I need to check internally? Can it be something to do with the firmware update?
All other aspects of the phone are ok. It is just the unreliable mobile network connection which is frustrating me :(

Galaxy S5 Guts Swap

I currently have the S5 G900A and I'm sick and tired of Samsung's TouchWiz B.S. I've wanted to switch to Cyanogenmod for a long time now, but haven't due to AT&T's locked boot loader. I was wondering if it is possible to buy a working logic board of a T-Mobile S5 off ebay and swap it with my S5 so that I can root and flash custom roms. Is that a bad idea or not possible? Also, will my AT&T sim card work on a T-Mobile S5 with LTE and all?
