LG G4 vs OnePlus Two [Which one should I buy?]

Hello everyone,
I'm in the market for a new phone, currently owning OnePlus One and I'm looking for something new to try out, so decision has fallen to these two.

I'n my country, they are priced the same.
- LG G4 does offer better camera quality, quick charging and SD card and removable battery, but the overall feel I have about LG phones is that they aren't as fast and snappy because of their custom UI.
- OnePlus Two offers better specs on paper considering CPU, GPU and RAM, with also metal construction that should be more durable, omission of NFC is not anything special here, since it doesn't really serve any purpose, but the camera performance, while being better than the One's is something questionable and certainly not as good as the LG's camera.

Overall, while I consider myself a power user, pushing my phone to the limits, I do like having clear and nice photos, not something I really have on the One.
So, if anyone could help me around, is there a significant amount of difference between these two regarding the performance and will I go wrong with buying G4 or vice-versa?

Should I worry about nox if I want Samsung pay?

Really want to root and install a custom rom but Samsung pay looks cool, I have heard if nox is tripped this won't work. Does this mean devs will work round nox to get Samsung pay working on tripped devices, or will I be screwed ?

Also android pay, is that available for all android devices and if so could I use that instead? Any help would be great.

Thanks :)

Should i upgrade from xperia z1 ? few questions

Hello, i have xperia z1

i like it's 6H+ screen on time
i like it's snappy lag free performance
i am happy with it's camera , but i don't like it's low light performance

What should i expect from LG G3 ?
How is screen on time ?
how is camera?
how is performance ?( i used LG G3 once for one day but i returned it, and it's ui didn't feel as smooth as z1, it feelt more like touchwiz with little stutter here and there)
how much free ram is available on the 2gb/3gb versions on average?
do 1080p/720p videos look blurry on the 1440p screen ? (720p don't look good on my z1)

and is it a good deal to get LG G3 2gb version for MY Z1+50euros

should I swap my m9 with G4 or keep it?

So I am trying to get all the information I need before jumping from M9 to G4, I generally never change a phone before a year cycle, but the M9 poor camera in low light, very warm temps in summer days, and more specially the small screen (for my astigmatic eyes) are pushing me toward a bigger screen and some goodies lie better camera, so the G4 is here for that.
But in another way I red so many reports about touchscreen issues, and lately people are saying it could be hardware fault, and the volume of the earphone is not impressive, that I don't now anymore!
Today a dude was ready to swap his only 1 week old G4 with my M9 for only 40$ and because I hesitated he sold it to someone else, now if I want to swap it it will be with a new unit and I will have to pay about 100$
I don't see other phones incoming that could suit me, note 5 will be very expensive and no sdcard, motorola phones are not sold in my country and Nexus 5 2015 will not have sd card too.
So is it worth it to swap my M9 to G4(and pay 100$)?
I plan to install Xpirt Sense 7 ports, I prefer Sense launcher.
Still have a last question: is the BT autoconnecting? I mean my M9 autoconnect to my car's BT everytime I start the Car app, it was not the case with the S6, I tried numerous car apps with autoconnect option but the S6 BT didn't want to autoconnect, I hope the G4 is like M9

Should I buy the Edge+?

Hello all, I'd like some friendly advice before dumping a tho7sand bucks on this phone. I'm a heavy gps user and a very heavy phone user in general. I've been reading through the xda forums that there are huge memory leak issues, and problems with bad gps chips that have problems with location locks / finding satellites / dropped signals. I know that the edge+ won't be released until Friday, but I expect that the internals, gps chip, etc are mostly identical. Should I buy this phone or be very afraid of getting stuck with a lemon?

[HELP PLEASE] Which recovery should I use on OC3 (I337) bootloader?

Should I get one?

Hi guys, so I've got the chance to get either an HTC M8 or an LG G3 and I'm leaning towards the LG but I'd like to know how it works and if I should invest my money in one... I would really appreciate the feedback (also sorry if this post wasn't supposed to be here, I'm a newbie [emoji28])

Moving to AT&T - Should I replace my N910T with a N910A - Band 29?

I am likely moving to AT&T from T-Mobile. Don't get me wrong, I am a very satisfied T-Mobile customer, but they have oversold their network in my neighborhood. Testing AT&T on a Nexus 6, I an getting 10X the speed, close to 40Mbps down when I may be only 2 or 3 with T-Mobile. So, here is my question: Should I replace my T-Mobile N910T with a N910A? I have read the N910T thread and I am not asking how wonderful the T-Mobile version is. I know. I don't root devices and I am stock on my Note 4. I don't care about unlocked bootloaders. Not important to me. I also understand less bloatware.

But when I test the Nexus 6, I get faster speeds, closer to 50Mbps. I am using Band 29 on the Nexus, Band 4 on my Note. I understand that the N910A supports Band 29. My area is congested. Will I regret in a year or 2 not having Band 29?

Should I buy one

I have pre ordered note 5 from best buy but I am feeling like I should cancel it. Reasons being

1. There are many things around the corner, USB type C, new nexus (hope it has brilliant display as note), new SOC's which much better performance (up to 50% improvement next year).

2. No improvement in SOC from S6 , not much improvement in camera from note 4 (same sensor), I don't have note 4 or S6 but I can get them for much cheaper price as note 5 is out now.

3. At&t boot loader will be locked.

Reasons I want to get this one

1. Best buy is giving 0 gift card on trade in so phone would cost 0 with a free wireless charger and I have to pay remaining amount on installments, so I am getting 28 weeks. (I am paying 30% up front so I can use gift card to do so)

2. Next overall good (big screen) phone would be note 6, I don't want to wait another year.

Anyone has any good advice?

Should i buy Droid Mini ?

Hello guys i am thinking to buy Droid Mini. I own a Droid Razr HD with locked bootloader. I love flashing custom roms but unfortunately i cant do it on Razr HD. Also because of low ram, i m deciding to switch.

I need to know some things before i confirm my purchase:

1. What system and android version can be rooted?

2. What system and android version can be unlocked (BOOTLOADER). (Is sunshine app used to unlock bootloader? any other way to do?)

3. When official lollipop update is out on Mini/Maxx/Ultra. (any idea?)

Thanks!

Amazon apps that should NOT be disabled?

I wish to disable anything amazon related for processes on the fire. Many of them have been active and the only app that reveals it is network logger.

Anyone know what apps I must keep in order to not break the phone?

Thanks.

What future smartphones should look like (Samsung,LG,etc. should carefully read this)

Hello guys,

i got really bored from the design and missing features of new devices from every manufacturer and didn´t understand some choices they made.
It all started really great back in the days, but nowadays the devices just get faster and lack a lot features and have overall some design issues.

So here´s a list what a smartphone should look like in the future ... i know everyone has his own opinions and taste :) :

First of all every builder should have 2 phones with the same hardwarespecs but different screensizes (Yes, Sony finally understood that point).
For the normal one handed user the small build should be max 5 inches in diameter with small bezels to ensure you can use it with one hand.
The (business/heavy user) model should have under 6 inches to be portable enough to fit in a pocket of jeans for instance.

Now the more important specs:
Most important: Replacable Battery and slot for microSD-Cards (Thank you LG for still mainting this option and Samsung go to xxx for you new devices).
Speaking of battery power, it should be enough to maintain 2 days before charging under normal usage.

Waterproof phones are not that usable in everyday life for the following reasons. The Z-Series and their hidden USB-Port are not good, if you charge them over USB. The dock is a nice option, but i like charging my phones everywhere with the microusb-cables out there in the wild.
So in my opinion if a smartphone must be waterproof the USB-Port should be too. If not there should be an extra waterproofversion from any manufacturer for people that drop their phones in the toilette or for voyeurs out there. In case of diving just a good old gopro.

There should be and option for everyphone to unlock the bootloader officially. (Thank you HTC!!! :) ) and there build be no exceptions from build to build or any possibilty for carries to modify this option.
I you buy a phone you should be to do with it as you please, even if it means losing the warranty.
Speaking of open bootloaders: If the manufactures would in implent a (encrypted) backupoption in their stock recoveries, t think many people would not root their devices or use a custom recovery.

The overall design of the corners should not be to edgy and not to round. (For instance the LG G2 was too round but comfortable, the G3 quite right and comfortable in hand and the pocket and the G4 is quite annoying to hold in the hand because of its sharp corners)

There should be a built in QI-Chargingpad to protect the USB-Port from to much mechanical usage (e.g. LG has made a good job by including that in the G3, but in the G4 i have to buy a leathercover (which i don´t like for everyday usage) or use a QI-Sticker for the cheap plastic cover which is always to thick to fit seemlessly)

The edges of the should habe any cheap material design (e.g. Samsungs cheap chrome-edges look like **** after a year, which is a lot better on the S6 with ist metalcase, but metal don´t like bumps to hard edges to, so the get dents after a while)
LG has done a better job on the G2 and G3, the G4 on the other hand got more vunerable.
Sony Z-Series is quite good in that area.

i hope i got everything in that list that bothers my mind, if i forgot something, just put it in the comments and i will edit this list if necessary.

My processor is slower than it should be!

I bought the phone today, but I think it's way slower than it should be. I know that the LG G Flex 2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with 2.0 GHz quad core and a 1.5 Ghz quad core (octa core) CPU, but after i have runned a couple of benchmark tests in Antutu, I got a score between 35000 to 40000! That's way slower than Samsung Galaxy S5's Snapdragon 801! I thought that it whould get a score over 50000 When I see info about my CPU in Antutu after bemchmark test, it stands that the first four cores has a frequency of 1.5 GHz, while the other four cores has a frequency of 0.9 GHz (two of them are "sleeping" a lot)! Is it possible to fix that? I hope so. I've got the 16GB version with 2GB of DDR4 RAM. The device is upgraded to 5.1.1 Lollipop. (Sorry for bad English, I'm from Norway)

Broken case - Should I contact seller?

My lovely Caseology wavelength case, which I've used for about 6 weeks, has now got a small broken piece around the earphone socket cut out. The TPU lip is still intact but obviously that area isn't as strong anymore. That little piece has completely come away now. I'm not sure if I should bother to contact the seller, or Caseology, or not do anything. Any suggestions? It's a tough case to install and remove and I don't feel I've done anything heavy handed, ,and certainly not dropped the phone. I've read one or two reviews where people have had a similar issue.
