[Q] Is it safe to install older radio on top of newer one?

Hello,

I've been having this issue lately where I don't get push notifications while on mobile data, and pages load quite slowly. I'm thinking it might be because I updated my firmware, as was suggested in my ROM's thread.

I'd like to try going back to the previous radio that I had - is that safe? I currently have the 17 June firmware, and would like to go back to the one from 15 May. Can I flash the older version on top just like that?

Which Apps are Safe to Remove or Freeze?

I got the Tmobile Galaxy S3 (T999). Which apps safe safe to freeze and or remove through Titanium Backup or other app?

Is it safe to install Xposed on the ZenFone 2E?

I'm wanting to install Xposed, but I'm wondering if it's safe to do so or if it will conflict with any OTA updates like how uninstalling bloatware does?

Is it safe to update to Lollipop?

So I have my rooted NK1 4.4.2 S4 going happily now.

But it immediately tried to install the OTA update to go to lollipop.

I'm all for updates, but I've seen some scary things about going to OC1 and not being able to go back and such.

I'm okay with not being able to go back, as long as I can keep root.

I've tried the various roms and I prefer stock for some reason, so lollipop is okay with me. However I must have root. So, is there a safe way to update to lollipop from nk1 and keep root? Or obtain root on oc1 and just do a normal ota update with nothing special? Most guides seem to require you start from a rooted Nk4, which I'm unsure how to achieve.

stuck in safe mode

hi i have a weird one my nephews phone decided while using it to switch its self to safe mode and now wont come out of it volume rocker is working fine as in volume works and also i have rebooted the phone a few times and still its stuck in that mode, any ideas how to remove it guys?

The thing is that I´d like to install a ICS based stock rom. I have downloaded the latest FOP Rom from Sammobile for my country. Now .......I read here in the forum that some kernels are unsafe to flash from.....so I am in Panic!!
My first question is.............. which safe kernel should I download for my cell phone?. I don´t understand all the numbers and characters here for the different versions. Please let me know which kernel iI should download!.

Are the ROMS & Recoveries safe for the 2E/Z00D model?

I'm having big issues with my stock 5.0.1 Lollipop with my notifications coming through only when I unlock my device, and I read that 5.1 fixed the wifi idle and sleep issues. I'm wondering if these ROMs and Recoveries are safe for me to go ahead and flash on my ZenFone 2E (Z00D) model to see if will solve the issue

[Q] Safe to hot swap SIM

On the Fire Phone, is it safe to hot swap the SIM with another one without power cycling?

Is it safe to uninstall bloatware or should I just freeze them?

I usually like to uninstall bloat, but I've seen some people get stuck in boot loops if they've uninstalled bloat and use an OTA update, but has this happened for everyone? Or should I just freeze the apps? I like to uninstall them to free up space, but as far as I know freezing them doesn't free up memory, does it?

Are one-click methods "safe"?

Hi all, I have a noob question. I want to know if I use a one-click root method like Towelroot or Kingroot, will they have "access" to my phone? In other words, will passwords and the like be stolen from me? Is one method better than the other. I tried searching for an answer to this question, but to no avail. Please forgive me if this was already answered somewhere!

Safe To Remove BLOATWARE on KitKat?

Hey guys, ive been searching up for some kind of Bloatware Safe to Remove List for KitKat but i didnt find anything, only stuff for Lollipop...
I would like to perform a full debloat on my system apps, but i want to keep the phone running with his regular functions (stock camera, blutetooth, nfc, just normal device features)
