Not able to set lockscreen wallpaper

when ever i try to set wallpaper for lockscreen, getting this error "com.asus.lockscreen unfortunately stopped working"
Facing this issue from firmware version 2.20.40.40 and now also in 2.20.40.41 for ZE550ML.
Tried wiping cache and dalvik from recovery. still problem persists.

But I'm not sure how this would translate to the Z3. Is there anyone more knowledgeable than I am at this who can shed some light on this? It seems like the same issue and hopefully same solution.

Am I missing something? I can't seem to find where I can change it. Manually looked for the file in case it was in the \ETC folder like in my other phone but don't see it.

Wallpaper Issue?

Soo...

First of all, I've tried applying a 1920x1080 wallpaper, a 4k wallpaper, and a 1440x2560 wallpaper. I've also looked on XDA and other websites and have NOT found a fix.

so, I'm using a 3rd party launcher (any has this issue) and whenever I apply a wallpaper, it zooms in the wallpaper and moves to the right. The only fix I've found so far is to have 3 pages and wallpaper scrolling on, but I want to have 1 page with wallpaper scrolling off.


Can anyone help me? My sister is also having this issue. I'm running OF1 (so is my sister) and don't think I have any OTAs. I'm also non-rooted.

Wallpaper placement on Lollipop update ?

Here goes my trouble, I want to create a new wallpaper for my Note Pro with the new Lollipop update. In the past, all you had to do it to create a 2560x2560 picture and place what you wanted on the middle. But now it doesn't work, if you put a square picture, when you set a picture as wallpaper, android do a strange rotated version... ruining all the work. With the default wallpapers there's no worries but here, I don't get why or how to do that, why did they change that seriously ? all my past wallpaper doesn't work anymore (and no I didn't root it, I don't want to lose warranty).

Can someone help me or give me a correct canvas ?

Wallpaper motion effect not happening

So, I just faced an weird issue since the last 240MB update. I don't like to keep that motion effect on but today a friend of mine asked to show it but it didn't worked. I tried to put other wallpapers, but they failed as well. I can turn on the effect but it's not actually happening. So I rebooted the device but same issue :confused: I've checked gyroscope as well. It's working absolutely fine.Any thoughts? :confused: Please help asap

Wallpaper parallax not working anymore?

I updated via OTA to BGO8 2 days ago and since then the parallax effect isnt working anymore, my phone is 100% stock, i even tried to delete TouchWiz home data with no luck, anyone else has this problem?

Wallpaper and MP3 problem?

Hello guys.

I bought this phone a few days ago.
Two problems.
1. When i post any wallpaper on home screen, never show in full size, only part of him. All wallpaper i use are 1080x1920 resolution.
2. I have downloaded few song in MP3 format, but phone can't "see" them, and i can't use as a ringtone. Need to move in a specific folder or...?

Lockscreen wallpaper & tasker.

So after a very long time looking for this, and e believe I am not the only one. I have found the answer!

Requirements:

1. Root
2. Tasker
3. Location of wallpaper for exsample: /sdcard/pictures/wall.jpg

The best part!

Open tasker and add new task call it whatever pleases you and add function "Run shell" under code.

Then the piece of magic code.

Code:

settings put system lockscreen_wallpaper_path "/sdcard/pictures/wall.jpg"

Tick use root. and try it. (tested on s6 XtreStoLite rom) Basically you can do this with any rom if you have sqlite and now the code for wallpaper location.

And bam, now with some extra modification with tasker you may have an automated way of changing lockscreen wallpaper!
