Wipe G2 for sale.

I am selling this phone on CL soon. I reinstalled OptimusSE 2.2 to clear out everything. The only thing is my cell number is still listed in the About Phone--->Status part. How would I get this off? Also, is there any phone info I do not need to make public? Thanks :good:

Wipe data Factory Reset what will I lose?

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s2 stuck in a boot loop. If I wipe data/factory reset from the standard Samsung recovery will I lose my photos which are not on a external sd card?

Stucked at loop in I9192-- unable to wipe data through CMW

My ph got stucked in a bootloop...when i tried to wipe out data through CMW recovery there are no option:rolleyes: to select... one more thing i flashed stock rom & custome rom tooo many a time but my handset always gets into bootloop.... When i flashed stock rom and go into recovery mode i always get CMW rcovery in place of stock recovery... and there are no options to select...:( plz help if anyone can:confused:... thank u in advance...!!!!

Full wipe while rooted OK?

I've got a H815, rooted on v10b with a locked bootloader, I want to perform a full factory reset.

Will this cause any issues, and will it still be rooted when I have performed the wipe?

wipe cache partition error on p3100

hello everyone..
i have big problem on samsung p3100, about wipe cache partition is error.. so every have installed new firmware, the old firmware data still exist in new firmware, then crash and reboot suddendly after arround 20 seconds..
so how to repair cache partition in recovery mode?
or is there a other way we can wipe cache partition using application in pc?
please help.. thx..

So yesterday after a security update, my note 2 stuck at boot logo "samsung." I tried to clear cache using TWRP but keeps getting FAILED to wipe, unable to recognizes SD card. I can boot into download mode and TWRP no problem. How can If ix this? I'm also getting unable to mount storage in TWRP and failed to flash using ODin.

How to wipe internal storage

Good day

I want to erase all the data in my s4

Currently i have TRWP and on omega rom v42.1

In TWRP. I will wipe the internal storage, cache, dalvik, system ect, then after that i will flash/install again the omega rom v42.1

Am i doing it right? Can i flash the omega rom straight away after i wipe the internal storage? Thank you in advance

[Problem]: i do "wipe system" And now my mobile does not work.

i do "wipe system" via recovery . and now I have Official recovery , becuse i install it by mistake

and my phone It does not connect to computer .

how i can fix it ? are there something like recovery (update.zip) to install it from official recovery ? or any thing please :(

Wipe & Flashing has no effect

I have a problem with my Moto G 2014 XT1068 which is described in topic: forums.androidcentral.com/moto-g-2013/391289-something-seriously-wrong-my-moto-g.html#post3668518
I can't do these steps, because dialog window shows up all the time, and i cant go further.
I have disabled usb debugging option and can't disable ART runtime.

First of all "Factory" in bootloader doesn't work. Wipe and factory reset via stock recovery has no effect; old android remains, the same using TWRP:
"E:Unable to open 'cache/recovery/.version' but ends successfully
and PHilz.

I've tried to flash many roms using many recoveries( TWRP - few versions up to 2.8.5 because 2.8.6 has display flickering bug, few Philz, and few others that also flicker) and fastboot and msfastboot(both on linux).
When i flash via fastboot or mfastboot using xml.zip roms everything looks ok, there are no errors, but flashing has no effect - I have still old ROM with old issue.
When i flash via different recoveries always some errors appears. For example flashing latest CM 12.1 nightly
via TWRP i get:
"E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sideload/package.zip'
or via stock recovery (ADB sideload) get:
"(...)
Verifying update package...
E:Failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted."

Partition erase in fastboot despite "OKAY" message in CLI has no effect. As i understand this should remove all files from partitions.

This problem showed up when i discharged battery to 0% and turned on the phone.
Have you any ideas what should i try more?

Wipe LAF Partition = Standard Bootloader?

So.... if we were to wipe the LAF partition... would we get back the regular bootloader on carrier variants, such as H811?
