HTC One (Rooted) Wont system Update (keeps asking to update after the update)

Hello,

So I been receiving a message on my HTC One M8 for a week now that there is a new Firmware update available (System Software update 4.20.631.3) and it downloads fine... I select Install... the phone reboots I see the installation process going on... then the phone comes back into the main menu like normal....... and it ask again that there is a new update if I want to install it (the same update)... every time I keep reinstalling the update, after the installation It'll ask to install it again. If I cancel the update... it'll ask me again later which is really starting to piss me off.

I have the 23.4.A.0.570 prerooted installed and am being asked to install an update




Should I proceed with the update? Will I lose root and recovery if I do?

HBO NOW asking for update

Hbo now is confirmed asking for update on 51.1.6.1_user_516010220 custom from rbox.
Anyone else have any success passing this update screen?

Apps asking google play services be updated

I am having issues with lastpass and other apps asking for google play services to be updated before they will run. My gpservice is 7.0.99. Is there a fix for this?

Encryption not asking for unlock on boot?

Hey guys,

A few days ago I encrypted my device running the latest Exodus 5.1 with standard kernel. The first few boot ups I had to draw a pattern for boot (in TWRP as well). Now, after a week or so, it doesn't ask me for my pattern anymore. Not on normal system boot, neither in TWRP. But in settings it still tells me encryption is enabled.

Wth? What am I doing wrong?
