Using Android as touchscreen monitor? Is there an app?

I have a Nexus 7 2012, and think the screen is great. It's a huge part of the reason I went with a tablet, rather than a computer. Unfortunately, there are some limitations that I really don't care for, and device capability is one of them.

I know that using a Febon HDMI UVC interface, it can be used as a monitor easily. I also know that there are apps that will allow you to use the tablet as a touchpad.

So the real question is, does an app exist that allows the touchscreen to be used to control a Windows machine, while displaying what the monitor output does? If not, how hard would something like this be to do?

Thanks!
Eric

Use Nexus as a monitor (kind of)

I know you can use the N7 as a second monitor or even a PC itself. I wanted to ask a question slightly more out there.

Is / would it be possible to output system (PC) stats to display on the N7? I have a Logitec G15 v1 keyboard that has the LCD screen on it that runs little apps on it. My N7 can sit right up over the top of it and act as a bigger and better screen. I would like to know if it was doable to run an apk to display those programs, or something like it pulling info from the PC along with maybe some other useful PC info. Kind of like running RainMeter but instead of on the PC have it display everything on the android via Blutooth, USB, or WiFi?

App to monitor battery current (mA)?

Hi all,

Is there an app that works with the S5 to monitor your battery's current (mA)? Both when it's charging and discharging?

The Currentwidget app doesn't work for the S5 unfortunately and the Ampere app only shows the max that a phone can charge when connected to any given USB port (which is pretty good info).

Thanks!
