yesterday i tried to install a rom, i accidentally formatted everything (including internal storage) and when i tried to reboot; it didn't. I just tried to install a stock rom with SM-G925F BUT not corresponding country of mine (on kies3 mine has AFG in paranthesis .wtf. ?), then i downloaded firmware from sammobile which has name;

G925FXXU2BOGB_G925FOJV2BOG8_G925FXXU2BOGE_HOME.tar

I kept flashing this rom and twrp recovery to reach into adb mode to flash any rom to just save my ass from losing efs/imei even if i did. But it doesnt.

To tell the problem in a way more understandable way;

The device cant boot itself.
I cant reach it from mtp or adb.
I can only get in download mode. whatever i do flash doesnt work.
it also says that cant mount efs (this part is im scared of.)

EDIT: I dont have any backup of efs.
The phone was 5.1.1 also tried to downgrade.
also tried flashing g925f pit file

Are there any phones that will tether on AT&T without the plan

I used to have an older phone (3G and slow as ever) where the tethering used to work with AT&T when enabled. USB tethering and WiFi. Eventually I picked up the Nokia 920 and of course no longer have that ability as trying to enable tethering leads to a nag screen that acknowledges that the feature is being held ransom by AT&T unless I pay them even more money. I already pay way more than I pay for my cable connection...and the cable connection is 20x faster than AT&T crap network. I just need it for simple mail checks while on the road. I am not paying for that. So I was wondering if anyone has had luck with any 4G capable phones? (I am assuming Android would have the best luck).

Why there is so little development?

I saw several reviews from Mate 7 and I loved it, It´s an incredible phone, but some important aspect for me is the community development. I like to get root, flash Roms and get updates to be in the last version

But I found that this forum has very little development

I bought Huawei Honor 4c in China, but I am always use CM roms before start use Honor 4c. I dont like emui 3.0 because it so beautiful, I just need Android native UI. I get Honor 4c CPU information from CPUZ, its report honor 4c use Kirin 620 soc made by huawei. Mostly, CM series rom are based on Qualcomm cpu phones (Except Huawei Honor 6). I just wanna know, does there have any expect to get CyanogenMod ROM for Huawei Honor 4c?:confused: thanks :)

Is there problem with my S6 battery?

Hai, It's not even 20 days that i have started facing battery problem . My s6 battery drains so fast..
Today i did a test. I enabled wifi location bluetooth fullscreen brightness and played game in normal mode .

It lasted only 2 Hours and 30 min..

Is it only for me ??If yes should i complain and get warranty for it . I will ask other question in thread :)

My question is simple: In linux we can extract a .DEB file and manually put each of its contents in its relative system directory, then it works just fine after a reboot (or logout-login process). Is there a way to do the same for the .APK files?

There could be a way to port CM12 to the htc desire 610

Hey guys,
I was researching yesterday about other phones with the same res and chip for a cm port maybe. Then I finally found the SONY XPERIA E3. This phone has the same resolution of the US variant of the desire 610 (480*854) and houses a snapdragon 400. And the XPERIA E3 has an unofficial build of cm12. I'm no dev, but we already have slimkat (i belive you already need a custom rom to port) and the E3 has the same specs (res and chip) AND CM12. So if there is any dev that knows how to port, please give it a shot. We already have a 4.4.4 rom, and I would love to see cm12 on our device. And if there is a dev who is willing to port it, take your time.

Using Android as touchscreen monitor? Is there an app?

I have a Nexus 7 2012, and think the screen is great. It's a huge part of the reason I went with a tablet, rather than a computer. Unfortunately, there are some limitations that I really don't care for, and device capability is one of them.

I know that using a Febon HDMI UVC interface, it can be used as a monitor easily. I also know that there are apps that will allow you to use the tablet as a touchpad.

So the real question is, does an app exist that allows the touchscreen to be used to control a Windows machine, while displaying what the monitor output does? If not, how hard would something like this be to do?

Hey is there anyway to get past fast boot or even disable it?

Hey guys my phone (moto g 2nd gen) volume down button has been in a constant state of being press im guessing its a hardware issue. Anyway me being the idiot I am didn't know this was the case so when I powered off my phone and tried to turn it back on went to the fast or hard boot menu. since it is constantly being pressed I cant even navigate the menu with the select feature (volume up) because the volume down key Is being pressed can I get some help with this or atleast some knowledge onto how to make the volume down key not respond? Or how to skip the fastboot or disable it? I would really appreciate it if you could help me out

I just inherited a 3rd Gen Kindle Fire HDX 7" that is running latest firmware (4.5.5). I am a newb to Kindle but not Android devices

I want to run some apk not available in Amazon Apps (Guitar apps) . Is there a way to root this newest firmway to get google play store as well as Amazon's store. If not, can I side load APKS if I have them. I was surprised to see when I connected to my computer, I couldn't access directories - Is therer a way to access the system directories to sideload apks or do I need to email them/dropbox them etc?

Just not sure what I can do withthe 4.5.5 firmware as it seems like the latest updates are hard to modify.

Any advice would be appreciated.
