Redmi 2 heating problem

I own a redmi 2 device(rooted using native root).

And i finaly got the OTA update of MIUI to version 6.6.6.0. Then i got this issue.
My phone heats up instuntly and batterry drains up within an hour.
but when i removed my sd card this issue was stopped.
Any one know any thing to help me??:confused:

My friend too has the same issue now we are not using an sd card.:crying:
I think the media server service is eating up the battery.

Revert Back To Miui V5 from Miui V6 in Redmi 1S

Hey Guyz,
I found a new way to revert back to MIUI V5 from MIUI V6.


As me many of us hav very slow internet connection due to which we are not able to download via TWRP recovery Manager. To avoid downloading i found new way


## First, you have to root your phone.


Steps:
Download the file Root_HM1S_MIUI6_Global.zip and put it in root of sdcard (Use internal)
Launch the Updater app
From the menu select 'Choose update package', and navigate to root of sdcard and select Root_HM1S_MIUI6_Global.zip

The updater app now reboots into the recovery, installs the update and then reboot
After the reboot has finished, You will able to see a new app namely SuperSU.
Open it one popup will aris and choose 'Continue' to update the SU binary


7. In the next dialog select 'Normal' and an updated su binary will get installed

8. Finally confirm to 'Reboot' after the successful installation

## Now Download Flashify App

## After that download TWRP or Philz Recovery and extract it

##There u will find the recovery.img file navigate it to root of sdcard

##Now Open Flashify App

##Select Recovery image

##There Select choose a file

##And navigate to the Image and select it..

##Wait for few seconds popup will appear Flash complete and there select reboot now

##Now you will reboot to recovery

For TWRP Recovery:

#Now open recovery and go to wipe. And go to advance menu and wipe you all data internal storage an everything except external storage.

#After successfully wipe your phone. Go to reboot menu and reboot to recovery. It will back you again to TWRP recovery.

#Now select install. And it will show your phone storage but you can go up lavel A and choose external_SD and select your download v5 ROM.

#After select the ROM flash it....

#And it will successfully flash(it may take some time) and now touch reboot option below.

#Successfully Reverted back to MIUI V5


For Philz Touch Recovery

#Navigate to Wipe and Format Option

#Select Wipe Cache , Dalvik Cache, And then Select Factory Reset

#After that Select "Clean to Install a New ROM"

#Now Select ++++Go Back++++

#Select Install Zip

#Choose zip from external sdcard and Select the ROM

#Wait for few minutes and then reboot


#Successfully reverted back to MIUI V5..

Water damage to Redmi 1S - Help/ suggestions needed

Hello friends,

Unfortunately my phone fell in water and now I'm not understanding what to do with it. Here is my situation:
1. Phone was in water for 15-20 minutes.
2. When I came to know about it, I took it, it was switched off.
3. I removed battery and removed the water that I could remove.
4. Kept it in rice for 6-7 hours. Tried to put battery and saw that there was red light even before I switch it on. The phone did not switch on after pressing power button.
5. Kept the phone again in rice for more than 24 hours. Also kept it in sunlight.
6. Tried to switch it on. Still I could see the red light even before pressing the power button.

I'm not getting what to do now? Can any one help/ suggest me in this regard? :confused:

Will The New Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Have Custom Roms & Kernels ?

That will further enhance its desirability (especially for those who may not like MIUI). Does having the new MTK Helio X10 processor inhibit the creation of such by potential devs ?

Paranoid Android For Redmi 2 Prime (Made In India)

Hello, I was an OPO user & loved PA on that.. PA simply worked every time when CM didn't..But Had to move on from OPO because of Size.
Now i have a Device Called Redmi 2 Prime & I am unable to find any PA Official Version on It.. Is there any...?? Can you guys point me to that or anyway so that i can PORT PA to this device..I AM Desperate to have PA,Please share your Ideas..:confused:

Recently Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime Launched in India (Made In India) & I am Proud to Have It :o

I am Coming from OPO & Loved that a Hell Lot except the SIZE! :rolleyes:

Now I have few Quarries (I was not able to get clear answers from MiUi)
01. Is the ROMs from Redmi 2 (1GB/8GB) are also working for Redmi 2 Prime (2GB/16GB) ?
02. What is the Most Stable & Close to Stock Android ROM Available? (No Launchers Idea Please!) :eek:
03. What about Modem Files of this Device??

What I Need is a clean ROM something like Paranoid Android Kitkat ROM For OPO (Most Stable & Clean Rom I have ever Used)..

If anyone is having this device .. & can suggest me something .. Will be thankful.. If not forward it to someone may be who can help.

Problems with Redmi 1s

The details my Redmi 1s are as follow :
1) About 9 months old.
2)MIUI version : MIUI-JHCMIBL53.0

Now the problems...
1) Many a times the music player gets activated on the lockscreen accidently ( I don't know how, but when I take phone out of pocket it is activated most of tht times on the lockscreen). Also closing it require several taps on the lockscreen.

2) Since few days, the battery is depleting very fast despite my usage being same. Also it takes more time to charge. Sometimes the charging even did not work and I have to hook out and hook in the charging cable into the phone to make it work. How to identify whether the problem is with the battery or charger or phone.

3) The Auto brightness works good in brighter light but the display becomes too dim in low light making hard to use it.

4) Many a times the available free RAM is quite low even when no apps are opened. How can it would be optimized ?

Please help.
