Post Unroot

I just unrooted my S3 to be able to update to the stock 4.4 rom using QBKings method. However, after doing this I went into the stock recovery just to make sure it was there and all and on the screen is a dead android with a red triangle. I did a quick google search but can't find anything about this.

What's causing the dead android symbol? The phone boots fine and other than that symbol the stock recovery seems to work so i don't understand why it's there.

Thanks in advance, I know this is a now outdated device but I still love it and want to figure out what's going on.

I'll kick off the photo thread because it's my favorite feature of the Note 5. It's kind of a lame pic but it still amazes my to see more stars in the pic than with just my eyes. This was taken in full auto with the flash off. I did have to resize it because the original was too large to upload.

Newbie: Help me choose a safe kernel (read post first)

that I am a newbie and I can´t understand all the stuff there. So stating clearly that the thread is useless to me and that no one seems to respond to my questions there I have just decided to open a new thread in search for the solution. So maybe any expert around here may drop me a hand. Let´s get to the point.

I have a rooted ICS 4.2.2 ROm with AOKP installed. My Kernel version is 3.0.85-NX-Kernel_1.4.1 neobuddy89@ubuntu #1
N7000XXLT3
STUNNER VERSION 2.7.13

The thing is that I´d like to install a ICS based stock rom. I have downloaded the latest FOP Rom from Sammobile for my country. Now .......I read here in the forum that some kernels are unsafe to flash from.....so I am in Panic!!
My first question is.............. which safe kernel should I download for my cell phone?. I don´t understand all the numbers and characters here for the different versions. Please let me know which kernel iI should download!.
