Dialer contacts smart search

In Note 4 when we would open the dialer and smart search a contact name using the keypad, it would show the more frequently dialled contacts on top....Note 5 shows all contacts matching with the key combination typed in alphabetical order....any way to change this to show as note 4 did? This is such a regression by Samsung of features that worked just fine!!!

Copy number to dialer?

I used to be able to copy a number FRM the call log to the dialer and edit the #. I haven't been able to do so on the new N5. Any suggestions on how to or a workaround?

Smart Dialer

I was wondering if there is anyway to get the dialer to search the recent calls like most smart dialers do. This one seems to only check saved contacts.

Dialer search lag problem on cm 12...

Im having some problem with the dialer...it sometimes take too much time for search...and sometimes just doesn't...
Any solutioms?

Hey guy, I hope I'm in the right forum here. I FINALLY got myself a NOTE 4 and I love it. But something caught my eye the other day. My fiancé has a Note as well (AT&T) and whenever she gets a call; she can put her call on hold and then go back to it when she's done. It's like she gets an extra step that we don’t on our phone. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried porting a stock TouchWiz contact dialer from an AT&T/T-Mobile Note 4 over to a Sprint Note 4? Again sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but that little detail seemed kool to me and even though I searched for it, I couldn't find a dialer apk files anywhere. Then again, I don't know if it's even possible. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated, Thanx.

No DTMF with stock dialer?

Recently I have called certain customer care service center and had to navigate their menus with DTMF, but dialer did not transmit any. Looking at couple of icons on it I still did not recognize any that might activate that function. Is it available at all, or I just don't know how to activate it?
Latest stock ROM, unrooted.

Google Dialer?

So it seems like Google's Nexus dialer can work on most phones with a bit of tweaking, and I was wondering if anyone got it working on the G4 yet? I had it installed perfectly on my M9, and my Droid Turbo came with it standard, but the S6 has been a lost cause so far. Hopefully this is something that can be done relatively easy.

After choosing this option, wait 30 seconds, then go back one step by pressing the Menu button then select back
Now you are in [6] Network Lock then choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALIZE

You should see a message that says
SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[0]
SHA256_OFF => Not Change

Also, is there any active development beyond ICS for this device? Since this is a sub group I'm assuming the roms in that other 8.9 thread won't work on the telus 8.9??
