Trying to move from LYZ28E to LVY48E

After trying to flash LVY48C from LYZ28E, my phone keeps displaying
"Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped"
"No SIM card"
I tried wiping the data from com.android.phone using ADB (adb shell pm clear) but still have the issue. Any ideas? I can do a clean flash but I'd prefer to keep my data and settings and all that fun stuff.
