Lock Screen Fingerprint Unlock

I have my lock screen set for fingerprint. If the device is shutdown or restarted, the lockscreen asks for a fingerprint. After that if the power button is pressed to shut off and lock the screen, the next time it is turned on the lockscreen asks for just a swipe. It wont ask for a fingerpring again until the system is restarted again. Anyone else have this problem? Solutions?

Why isn't fingerprint security working!

Fingerprint print security in Paypal doesn't work on most of the roms I've tried. I get a "Fingerprint bind failure" error.
The one meaningful thing a fingerprint scanner is good for on a phone and it doesn't work, I can't be the only one who has noticed this so where is all the discussion about it, I have found zero meaningful discussion about it and the canned answers out there don't count as meaningful either.

I have successfully configured fingerprint security in Paypal with The Sickness stock deodexed OB1 and I am assuming this is because it's running the stock kernel with the least amount of tampering.

I haven't got it working on Omega rom with the Omega kernel,
I haven't got it working on our 5.1.1 roms with ShinySide kernel's.

I guess I am really curious to hear who else is using fingerprint security with paypal and what rom/kernel you are running.

Fingerprint scanner after root...

I'm wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix the fingerprint scanner after rooting the S6? I have looked but not found much discussion about it. Are there any custom ROMs that have it working? If not is anyone working on a solution? Is there any hope that we will get it eventually, or is it a lost cause, the sacrifice we've made to have root?

S5 Mini Won't recognize fingerprint

Today i have resetted my fingerprint data and i have configured a new fingerprint. After the scanning the phone says: Fingerprint Scanner Error. Now the phone it's unlocked, but i can't set the fingerprint as lockscreen. it doesn't recognize also the alternative password.

XtreStoLite Deodexed 5.0.2 Fingerprint Scanner Issue

Hey guys!

I just flashed XtreStoLite deodexed on my Canadian Samsung Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2 firmware

I also used aroma to get some Samsung stuff back, and then clicked "Enable fingerprint scanner support" thinking that it would allow me to use my fingerprint scanner which had previously stopped working after I installed XtreStoLite. I still can't use my fingerprint scanner. It says "there is a problem with the finger print scanner. if this problem persists, please reboot the device."

I tried the odexed version too, and nothing different happened. Has anybody found a fix for this?
