GPS help Remote login, modify app or new app ?

Hello,

I have a small issue i have some buses i have glympse to track them (in trial) i have a big issue with the 4 hour tracking limit its to hard to teach the drivers to use the software most of them are old.

So i am asking for help the options i can think of are;
Pay someone to change/ hack the Glympse app itself so i can track for say 12 hours.
A remote log in app ? so i could log on to each android phone from the office and change it myself from here in the office.
Or use another software option, the main reason like glympe is im able to have the map live tracked on my website for schools to be able to track there bus,
so if there is another app out there i need it to have the feature

see this link to see what i am trying to achieve

Thanking you in advance.

Need help to modify a kernel

Hi everyone,
I have a 10.1'' chinese tablet with a rk3066 chip, suddenly the firmware got damagend, there is no way to find the original, i've tried with over 100 different firmwares from here or rockchipfirmware, nothing worked, but there is 1 version that barely works (PlayerMomo12 release 3) but the screen is inverted in both axis (X and Y), i've tried different methods to fix it, with apks, with usb debugging, and nothing worked, the apps just doesn't works, even one of them dissapeared and i was unable to install it again, using my laptop doesnt works because the directory that should mount doesn't exist, i don't know why but i've tried all the methods, even mounting with a terminal inside the tablet (you can imagine how hard was writting with the screen like a mirror), then i thought the only solution was using the kitchen to modify the file script.bin, but again, a lot of problems, i couldn't open the image, found this thread:

simply typing running mount at the command line or in a shell script uses that one instead of the busybox one.

dr.notor replied:
Well, the above is an example of totally screwed up mount binary, dunno which phone and ROM you are using but the guy who produced the above would deserve a bit hit with a cluebat into their head.
If you have similar broken crap, simply edit the scripts to call busybox mount and not mount.

well, this is the point (after a lot of days working on this) when i give up, this tablet was bought in China and the company (scope) doesn't sell it anymore, and they don't reply the emails, even the webpage is half empty, this is the point when i ask, if someone can help me sending a working kernel based on this rom (PlayerMomo12 release 3) or the firmware with the script.bin modified to invert both axis, if no one can, then it's the moment to smash the tablet with a giant hammer and send it back to China

i could bought 2 galaxy tab 4 if i wasn't wasted so much time on this

here is the firmware if someone wanna to try

[Q] Modify OTA Install Script

With the news that Google will be releasing monthly OTA updates, I am wondering if we can create a method to apply OTA updates on rooted/modified devices (e.g. modify the update.zip itself to bypass whatever checks it performs)?

I run stock, but with root, xposed, and many system applications removed. Returning to 100% stock each month, updating, then re-modifying is a tedious process that I am not looking forward to.

Does anyone have experience with how the OTA updates work? Is it even possible to modify the update.zip to remove the check for a stock /system?

Here is how to put and modify a file/folder to C:\directory [Windows 10 Mobile only]

Maybe you know about it, but I just wanna share something I think very interesting :D : Simple way how to put and modify a file/folder to C:\directory*

1. Based on this thread , pleased know: How to open C:\ folder directly on your phone.
2. Firt thing, copy your file to "This Devices". ex: Documents folder (is up to you, not only Documents folder. You can use other folder)
3. Now, open C:\ directory like following step 1.
4. Go to C:\DATA\USERS\PUBLIC\Documents (here is your file)
5. Try to Copy or Move your file on here (C:\DATA\USERS\PUBLIC\Documents) to root of C:\ or somewhere you liked by pressing the address at the top bar.

*you must know, some file/folder can't modified or re-write because they're have read-only attributes.

Thanks, :good:

Cannot modify files on SD card

Hi folks. Problem here today.
2 months back, I flashed Resurrection Remix on my Gt-19300I, everything was fine, until about a week ago. That's when I started noticing bugs, I didn't both we about it so much. But now I am, I cannot copy/modify files on my SD card from the Default file manager, I installed fz file manager and tried it, but I can't. After digging around for a while, I find that I have to enable write access in my SD card. Ayt, I do that. And then after clicking on the "select SD card" I get an error, saying I have to choose the root for the storage card. Would show screenshots but I need 10 posts to make that happen

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a way to modify the Always On clock?

Not sure why Samsung blocked developers from having their own custom Always On clock but it is a real crappy thing to do. I would love a bigger digital clock with the the date that doesn't move for my Always On.
