I have a small issue i have some buses i have glympse to track them (in trial) i have a big issue with the 4 hour tracking limit its to hard to teach the drivers to use the software most of them are old.

So i am asking for help the options i can think of are;
Pay someone to change/ hack the Glympse app itself so i can track for say 12 hours.
A remote log in app ? so i could log on to each android phone from the office and change it myself from here in the office.
Or use another software option, the main reason like glympe is im able to have the map live tracked on my website for schools to be able to track there bus,
so if there is another app out there i need it to have the feature

Cracked Screen And I Can't Enter Pin Code - Remote PIN Change??

Hi Guys, today I managed to drop my phone, cracking my screen, and this now means I cannot type in my PIN number to access my phone. Also means I cannot back up all my info before sending the phone for repair/replacement.

I read it is possible to bypass/change the screenlock PIN, however I've not worked out how.

Can anyone assist on this???

I get the chinese version of oneplus 2 and it is running HydrogenOS. I don't like all the chinese bloatware so I decided to install oxygenOS, the one linked here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/onep...olbox-t3178267
But I try to unlock the bootloader, I get this message :
FAILED (remote : oem unlock is disabled)
Any clue on how unlock the boot loader.

[Q] Android phone as wii remote

Hoping I havn't missed a topic on this, but I think I've been around. Most are posts are old or focus on actually connecting a wiimote to the android phone. The issue is I got a wii with homebrew installed. Homebrew requires a wiimote to actually select anything in the menu. I do not have my wiimotes (got 4 game cube controllers), and don't really use them, but I obviously need one to simply get over the menu / select a game. So is it possible / is there some app which allows you to emulate the wii controller and connect the android device to the wii? Again, not the other way around, I'm not interested in using a wiimote with my android.

Figured it shouldn't be too hard to make, so I am quite puzzled I havn't been able to find anything.

Installed app and now remote not working

I installed Mediahh apk on to my Amazon Fire TV stick. I then restarted the stick and opened the app using the remote. Having watched a couple of vides I decided the app wasn't what I wanted so I used the remote to exit the app. Suddenly the remot stopped working. I've changed the batteries and it's not working. I have used the remote control app on my phone to uninstall Mediahh and also restarted. I've tried to pair the remo but the stick doesnt detect it. I have read other threadds about restarting the stick (which worked for other people) or unpairing but I cannot find the option to unpair it.
I used adbFire to install the apk.
Does anyone have any advice what to try next?

What do you use for a remote now that WatchOn won't open

I can still access the remote in the notification shade on my 8.4, but it'll only work for the last room I used and has a lot less buttons. I tried to use Peel Smart Remote which is what my Note 4 uses. However it won't install on the 8.4 and I had to side load it from APK Mirror. Sadly it won't work in landscape orientation, so you end up turning to use the remote and it stays in portrait mode.

The best I've found so far is ASmart Remote it's free, works with my devices, and works in landscape. The ads are a bit annoying, I wish I could pay to turn those off.

Could someone please clearly explain how to install LG Quick Remote or any other stock app for that matter on a custom ROM running Lollipop.
I've browsed so many forums and people say different things and there's no coherency.
Please let us know how you did it, only if you have actually done it. Most LGQRemote.zip files don't work when flashed from recovery.

Hello, I'm trying to connect a wii rvl-cnt-01 controller to my galaxy tab 4 via bluetooth and is just not working. ... I can't seem to figure out how to get pay the Bluetooth pin. .. since the controller doesn't require one, I've tryed all the apps in the play store and no such luck. Thanks

The IR Reciever with a Generic Remote

I have an old Harmony One remote, but there are reasons I don't use it. It's clunky, needs charging and I just don't get on with its approach of reverse engineering all my devices to work together in "harmony". The price tag is also a bit much for what it is (I didn't pay for mine). Some people do get on with them very well, I just don't.

So does anyone know of a way to program the Shield to respond to the IR signals of any old remote? I mean something similar to LIRC, but I don't want to buy a FLIRC.

What would it take? An app with root permission? A custom ROM? A port of Ubuntu with LIRC? Is it even possible?

PS: I don't mean to hate on the Harmony users.

expanding quickremote or other remote app

hey guys,

the qickremote app on my d620r (sw official 5.0.2 V20a-EUR-XX) is rather limited. the only things it allows you to control are tv, blue-ray, and dvd.
however, i have seen screenshots from other lg phones (for example g2) which show much more functionality (like controlling a set-top box, audio, etc., and even an option "universal remote", whatever it is).
i have tried installing other remote control apps from the play store, but none of them seem to work for the g2 mini.
i also tried to install the apks from the g2 and g3, also without any results.
so here come my questions:

has anyone more functionality in their quickremote app than i do?
has anyone managed somehow to port this app from another lg phone with success?
has anyone encountered a 3rd party ir remote app which actually works?
