WARRANTY (Knox tripped)

Hello XDA,
After 6months with this tablet I have found that the processor in my model smt700 can't handle frequencies over 1.6ghz .
When first purchased with stock kitkat the screen flickered a few times then with the OTA lollipop the screen flickered even more so.
After rooting with king root it was then that I could set and test the frequencies and voltage and my conclusion after intensive testing was that my tablet could only be stable running at 1.6 ghz... thumb down !!
At first I didn't trip knox and just flashed tw based Rome with flashfire and after still having screen flickering issues with unexpected reboots I flashed twrp and CYANOGENmod 12 with the same cpublisher overloading at over 1.7ghz...
I have now called samsung who provided me with a prepaid shipping label (Ups) and was told to in luce the original charger and take of screen protector and any case.. as well I have to put o the outside of the box a service number for my service request...
I hope that Samsung won't be so evil with my product and refuse to provide service since my knox is at 0x2 ! !
At worst maybe the refashioned the device to new and at best a WORKING replacement but at worst a complete refusal of service to my device would put a nail in the coffin as for me ever purchasing another SAMSUNG device tablet,computer or T.V.
Samsung told me the expected turn around for the servicing should be around 14days.. I will post the result once my smt700 has returned...

Replacing back glass void verizon warranty?

I got a tiny about 1" crack in my back glass. I've been having some charging issues with my edge. If I replace the back glass, will it void the verizon warranty?

Does rooting void warranty as well as Uh oh protection

I really wanna root but I'm afraid I will need either the Uh oh or manufacturer warranty one day, does it void both?

HTC Warranty with unlocked bootloader

Hi,I want to install custom rom. (like most people) but, With htc one m7 I used the warranty, so, I want to be able to use it with the M8. My question is. to return full stock, its need s off right? Right now I cant afford 25 for the soff (in my country, outside of USA is a little more difficult because the conversion). So, if I use the dev unlock bootloader, Can I install custom any rom ( i ask because I dont know where I saw custom rom requiring S-OFF) and then do the s off after a while (maybe 2 o 3 months). If I use dev unlock from htc, they will be able to track that I install custom roms? And how about bricks, wich side is safest (only unlock bootloader or Soff) and wich side is more easy to recover?.

Just got a Android 5.0 warranty replacement for my rooted 4.4.2; options?

So I just got a 5.0 Lollipop SM-G900A, Baseband G900AUCU4B0F3 warranty replacement for my old rooted 4.4.2 SM-G900A AT&T S5.

I want to get root back. I don't care about warranty since I'm technically out of warranty now and they replaced my phone past warranty (I was really nice to the friendly female CSR I got on the phone). I believe my options are:

Live without root
downgrade to 4.4.2 and root with towelroot without tripping knox
root 5.0 but trip knox

I'd like to do number 3, but I don't know what the best method is at this point. I haven't kept up on any developments in root area since I rooted my 4.4.2 and was supremely happy with it ever since. I know that flashing an already rooted ROM is one of the options but honestly I've gone down the custom ROMs road before on previous phones and I know if I start that again I'll be going through tons of ROMs looking for the one I like best and I've been so happy with rooted vanilla stock that I don't want to take the time to go down that path right now if I can help it. Is there a way to root 5.0 directly if you don't care about Knox/warranty?

I fully realize that I could RTFF and figure out what my answer is but I'm hoping someone who is current will take pity on me and point me in the right direction and cut my RTFF down from hours to minutes. TIA for any help.

Question about voiding warranty.

Ok so I'm not asking on how to install a rom or anything like that. It's just that I haven't rooted a phone or installed a different rom in so long that I just don't know what's changed. So I just got a LG G4, and I wanted to install Cyanogenmod just because I like the customization options it had back then and I'm sure it's gotten better now (on that note can you still revert to stock roms on phones?). So here's the thing, I just got the phone today, and it's brand new. Now I'm afraid something might go wrong with the phone (other than bricking which would be my fault) and I want to be able to send it in and get it fixed or replaced. I remember a while back there was something you'd installed that it would reset the counter (flash counter?) so it would seem like it was not rooted. Is that still around or anything like that so technically I'm not voiding my warranty just yet?

The technical process of rooting or unlocking the bootloader does not void the warranty of the OnePlus One. However, we strongly suggest for you to only root or unlock the bootloader of the OnePlus One if you are confident that you understand the risks involved.
