Wi-Fi authentication problem after a night sleep

Hi! After installing Android 5.0.2 to my Sony Xperia Tablet Z, I am facing a strange issue with Wi-Fi connectivity. When at home my device is continuosly connected to wi-fi. But after several hours, basically I notice it in the morning, there is an "Authentication Problem" with wi-fi, and I need to reconnect it. In wi-fi settings I have set "Keep wi-fi on during sleep" to "Always", it doesn't help though. Any ideas how to fix it? Prevously, on Android 4 wi-fi worked flawlessly without any problems. Thanks.

Fire TV Sleep

For a long time now I've got my aftv to sleep by setting screensaver time to "never" but now that I have prime and unlimited cloud storage for pics, I use those as my screensaver and want to keep using them. So as expected, it appears amazon never fixed this issue. I have 2 questions:
1. Should I even care that my aftv is always on? (significantly shorten its life?etc..)

2. Is there a way to get those pics to display but still go to sleep after a reasonable time, or at the very least when my TV turns off?

***While we're on the subject of pics and screensaver. If anyone knows if you can delete the amazon stock screensaver jpegs, that I assume get downloaded and saved to the aftv, could you please tell me? I'd think that'd save a good amount of space if they are being stored somewhere on the box. That photo cache fills up fast too. I delete it 2 times a weeks and it's still over 200 mb each time. Lenovo A6000 plus deep sleep issue / Screen won't turn on .

I have been experiencing this issue on the A6000 plus since the past week. Once in a while (around 2-3 times every day) the phone goes into a deep sleep kind of state where the screen won't turn on even after pressing the power button numerous times. This issue has become so irritating that I am considering going for a refund. The phone works properly only after the battery has been removed and re-inserted. Does anyone have a solution to this problem ? Please share. The S5 doesn't activate the sleep mode.

A few months ago I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S5. And until yesterday all were working right. But, without any change, since yesterday I can't activated the sleep mode not with power button and neither with screen look time... I have installed some apps for this function and they can block the screen as maximum (not switch of the screen) the screen is always working... I've tried to restore as company and nothing... Could somebody help me?? Thanks a lot.

[Q] Z3 in sleep of death after flashing recovery?

Hi all,

I flashed TWRP recovery succesfully after unlocking my bootloader, unfortunately after flashing a newer version the phone entered a death sleep state.
I'm unable to get it working again, nothing... fastboot etc, tried everything.

Any ideas or things left that I could try?

Sleep timer under Display settings won't stay where I set it.

Settings/Display/Sleep. It's always set on 1 minute, whether I change it or not. I've tried setting it to 5 mins and it goes right back to 1 min. None of my changes will stay. Always 1 min. My tab is not rooted and its up to date.
I cannot find the answer anywhere. Any searches I make on Sleep never give me the correct search. I am at my wits end. It's extremely annoying when reading something and the display closes down. I always have to press the Power button to wake it up.
Please give me some suggestions.

Deep Sleep issues after rooting with PingPong

Hi all guys!

New phone, first post in the new community!

I just grabbed a SGS6 on 5.0.2 stock Samsung rom which i rooted with PingPong root method to avoid tripping my knox.

Everything works flawlessly but the phone seems to be unable to enter in deep sleep mode. I have already cleaned my cache from stock recovery without success.

Any clues? I have made some research but it seems that i cant manage to find a solution for this particular situation. Thanks yall for the help as always!

CPU on my note 3 not deep sleep while screen off. I'm using any rom (Aryamod. Soul. DarkLord S6 V2,...) and any kernel (lean, after97, audax, stock kernel,....) but.....

Display Sleep Time

Hi everyone,
My Ascend Mate 7 resets the display sleep time to "after 1 minute of inactivity" automatically. I have tried setting it to 5 minutes - which i want - but in vain. Is anyone else facing a similar problem? There is some other settings to fix this?

S6 sinds 5.1.1 not always active in sleep mode?

Since upgrading my S6 to 5.1.1 my S6 seems to put apps to sleep with screen off, but not always.
So twitter for example is still receiving updates.
But Whatsapp not always, so sometimes need to open the app before it receives its messages.
Same goes for the web app from whatsapp, when the phone goes to sleep after 1 min +/-'s the app goes to sleep and the web app loses its connection.
This was never the case before the upgrade and is insanely annoying.

The keep wifi alive while asleep is on....
Tried the option under #*011* for the wifi power management, but does not seem to fix it.
As twitter still works it also seems to be something else?

Anyone know this problem and better yet how to fix it?
