N5 vs G4 Camera Quality

I've been reading around the web articles like this http://www.slashgear.com/lg-g4-wins-...ight-03395377/ and starting to get concerned with the Note 5 camera quality when compared to LG's G4. Now this is obviously assuming the N5 produces the same results as the S6 since its supposedly the exact same camera. Maybe the camera quality has been upgraded a bit since the S6? I doubt it. More specifically, I'm concerned about the low light/ night time pics on the N5 and considering getting the G4 instead. I know stores just started getting the N5 but has anyone spent any time comparing the two phones' camera quality? And how noticeable is the difference? Thanks!

AOSP Based ROM with great audio recording quality ??

Hi there...

I would like to use some AOSP based ROM on my LG G3 D855, but I've already tested many, and all of them have a poor audio recording quality.

On the video recording, the audio is pretty acceptable, but if you try to record any music playing at a high volume with some bass (on shows / parties), you will get a distorted and clipped audio.

When recording audio through WhatsApp (or any other audio recording app) the situation is even worst, even voice-only recordings have a really bad quality and noise.

With Stock-based ROMs, none of this problem happens, I can record songs with high volume even when using Whatsapp and it doesnt sound creepy.

So, is there any ROM with a audio comparable to the official-based ROMs?

How to get the best sound quality out of this great phone?

I bought a Samsung captivate from a friend yesterday. He was running Kitkat on it and it is very slow. My only use of it as a phone is recieving calls and text messages, nothing else like facebook,whatsapp or anything. My main use for this phone is to use it as a portable music player as I travels alot. I saw an old thread from head-fi that, this phone can be transformed into an Audiophile level music player using a Voodoo kernel and an Voodoo control plus App. But that was in 2011. What is the current situation? How can I get the best sound and best battery life out of this great device? I mean, which rom or kernal or modes to get the best sound quality out of this phone?

M8 High Quality screen Digitizer

After permanent black areas appeared on my Verizon M8 screen; i'm gonna replace it.
i know it quite hard but i had to go through it especially HTC charges 220$ for that after 6 months and i'm not in US where HTC service here is bad.
on Amazon; screen prices around 50$
on Ebay; screen (named as OEM) prices range 50$, 75$, 100$ !!! (the top rated sellers)

Do you have suggestions where i can buy the original OEM screen.
And if not possible anywhere but through HTC; how i can rule the quality of the listing with this huge prices difference . . anyone had experience with good HTC screen parts.

[Q] Ear speaker quality of Fire Phone

How good is the ear speaker quality on the Fire Phone? (Not the stereo speakers.)

I tried throwing in a GoPhone SIM on a new Fire Phone, and then dialed 611. If I turn the volume all the way up, or one notch down from max, the automated attendant sounds bad. The sound of her voice is distorted and buzzes. I have to turn the volume down at least 2, sometimes 3, clicks below max for the distortion to disappear.

Did I get a bad Fire Phone, or is this normal?

Better quality Facebook contact pics?

I know this is off topic but I tried to sync up Facebook with my contacts on XL and their profile pics are all very low quality/blurry. Is there any way to get a better quality for my contacts?

[Q] S4 Mini bad screen quality?

I just bought a S4 mini and flashed cm12.1 as I did not intend to use Samsungs Android.

I immediately noticed that the screen looks dirty/grainy
This can be seen best on the "power control widget" background. It looks like a sand paper texture.
But I see that on every not over saturated single colored area also.

I am aware that all AMOLED display do not have super good accuracy, but it is not that I have to stick my face to the screen to notice.
I see this every time without any effort and I find it ugly. It just looks dirty.

I compared with my PS VITA (1st gen) AMOLED and I really really have to concentrate and try hard to see that dirty look there. It is far more clean than my S4 Mini display.

Can anyone confirm? Or is is just bad luck with my unit?

Nexus 6 signal/reception quality vs Note 4

Hello All,

I am a dissatisfied Note 4 owner. My wife has a moto x (2nd gen) and side by side, hers is faster and blows my Note 4 out of the water in terms of cell phone reception. I live in rural TN and reception is like gold many times. I am looking at getting a different phone with a better reception and I am on the fence between the LG G4 and the Nexus 6.

My question is: Is the Nexus 6 phone reception just as good as the Moto X or the LG G4? I know from first hand experience how good the Moto X is and I would like something along this line of phone quality. Any advice I can get would be greatly appreciated.
