Unlocked Nokia, No access via USB on the PC ?

Hey all,

I just used root tool yesterday (http://forum.xda-developers.com/wind...ws-10-t3178140 )and I loss access on my PC.

This is a Nokia 929 (Verizon ICON) with build 10512 on it.

When I connect to a PC, I get the noise on my phone (and slow charging message) but, the PC does nothing, does not see a connection. Tried 3 different PCs and rebooted my phone in between. I need to transfer files on and off the phone.

Any idea on how to fix this WITHOUT hard resetting ?

I am using my windows nokia 920 with windows mobile 8.1. I would to get access to my whatsapp database to make an backof of outside my Phone. Because the 920 has no SD Card slot, i can not create a backup on it.

So I am looking for an App that can backup the database to an external location, or have full access to my windows Phone directory. Please help me...

Nokia Icon (929) stuck at red Nokia screen can't flash

I was using the 10 preview, great stuff, but I had a problem with my LTE connection and that was more important so I decided to downgrade back to 8.1. I guess my first mistake was trusting microsft to do this properly, i used the windows phone recovery tool. It started the process then came up with a big FAILED message. Now i can't get past the red Nokia screen.

i've tried the lumia recovery tool, using the phone will not boot option, it detects the phone (some times) says that it's a Nokia Icon RM-927 downloads the correct firmware and then the phone immediatly reboots and the reocvery software says that the firmware is not for the device. "0xFA001304: Platform ID check fails. Reason(s): The FFU file is not meant for this product. The platform ID of image does not match with platform ID of the device."

over the last day in all the research and digging i have confirmed that the product code and subsequent downloaded firmware is correct, i've tried using the Phone support tool and got the same message, i've even tried command line using thor2.exe. thor2 had a bypass product code check but apparently that requires some sort of authentication?? i'm stuck i need this phone. it's not life or death but any help is appreciated

also holding down the power and volume down key at the same time does not make the phone vibrate.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to reflash what i'm guessing is the boot loader, but i can't find the hex or the bin file anywhere. apparently either there aren't a lot of icons out there or there aren't a lot of people bricking their icons.

if anyone has a working icon could they please get me the bin file i need?

Nokia x boot loop

Hi,
I had a phone (nokia x) rooted after then I reboot the phone I see boot loop I can't make flasher because Nokia x can't adb driver usb with my computer . what must I do ? :rolleyes:

Nokia 925 ROM Flash

I have a Nokia 925 locked to T-Mobile I want to put a non branded Rom on it so I can use it on another carrier, I requested an unlock code form T-Mobile but they refused to send me one for some stupid reason even though I was a current customer and the phone was in use on their network. My call log looks weird in nokia xl without phone symbol to call.ican send you screen shots.i restarted my mobile many times but nothing happend.i also reinstalled by wiping all datas and cache but still the same problem exists.also my wifi hotspot when i try to activate i loss wifi connection and loss the wifi symbol in the status bar along with hotspot symbol.so i have to restart each time to get the wifi working.how should i solve my hotspot bug.please help me at the earliest.
