Wifi Icon always downloading

Hi guys....I dont know if this is the correct session but I have a s5 mini rooted and recently I notice that once I am connected to my wifi the down arrow is always lit up. I have AF+Wall installed and blocked all recent apps I have installed but its still doing it. Any Suggestions or possible fixes?

WIFI Icon with "!"

Hi guys,

I have been connecting my Z3 Dual (Android 5.0) with my home ASUS Router (RT-AC87U) and there is no "!" on the WIFI Signal Icon.
It appears that after I upgrade to 5.1, I will have this "!" on my WIFI Signal Icon every time I connect to my home router, anyone has any solution? :confused:

My phone won't turn on, charging icon loop

My phone won't turn on and when i connect it to the charger sometimes it shows the charging icon and then goes into a loop, and sometimes it shows the charging icon one time only and then it dies.

Also if i try to boot into download mode, it works but it stays for like 10 seconds and then reboots, so i guess maybe the power button is faulty and always pressed?

What do you think?

[BUG] Permanent cursor icon. CM12.1 Bug [FIX]

I've been having a frustrating issue on cm12 based roms and it appears some other users have run into the same problem.
The issue renders itself in the form of a permanent 'circle' mouse cursor that your are forced to move around the screen in order to make your selections (as if a mouse was plugged in), this appears to be an issue with certain M9 devices that were shipped with a different panel type.

This seems to happen as there is a file missing from: DEVICE\SYSTEM\USR\IDC\
Named: 'max1187x_touchscreen_0.idc'

To fix:

• Create a new .txt file on your desktop.


• Re-name the file to EXACTLY match this: max1187x_touchscreen_0.idc (making sure the extension is .idc not txt)


• IF you are unable to change the extension, please make sure 'view file extensions' is turned on in windows.

Edit the .idc file in notepad, paste the following text EXACTLY and save/close:

Copy this file to your device and using a file manager place it into: DEVICE\SYSTEM\USR\IDC\, reboot your device and the cursor should be no more.
Please note, due to the location this file needs to go, you will root permissions in order to successfully paste it in place.

[Q&A] Icon default style

Hi there,

i have recently started modding, so ye, i am a bit of nub in development in android. :(
What i please you to answer me is: How do i set the default icon behavior like when i install a new app, the app-icon will have a default style like it is completely round or completetly square? Also i would like to know how to set it, that the default icon will be stretched into the default frame(square/round). I guess you know what i mean. :)

Where is Voice search icon on android m?

Can anyone help me get back a voice icon? I've switched to the latest M and no longer have the icon or widgets for voice search. I'm not a fan of saying "OK Google, blah blah...". I really like having a one touch icon on my homescreen. Thanks

Nokia Icon (929) stuck at red Nokia screen can't flash

I was using the 10 preview, great stuff, but I had a problem with my LTE connection and that was more important so I decided to downgrade back to 8.1. I guess my first mistake was trusting microsft to do this properly, i used the windows phone recovery tool. It started the process then came up with a big FAILED message. Now i can't get past the red Nokia screen.

i've tried the lumia recovery tool, using the phone will not boot option, it detects the phone (some times) says that it's a Nokia Icon RM-927 downloads the correct firmware and then the phone immediatly reboots and the reocvery software says that the firmware is not for the device. "0xFA001304: Platform ID check fails. Reason(s): The FFU file is not meant for this product. The platform ID of image does not match with platform ID of the device."

over the last day in all the research and digging i have confirmed that the product code and subsequent downloaded firmware is correct, i've tried using the Phone support tool and got the same message, i've even tried command line using thor2.exe. thor2 had a bypass product code check but apparently that requires some sort of authentication?? i'm stuck i need this phone. it's not life or death but any help is appreciated

also holding down the power and volume down key at the same time does not make the phone vibrate.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to reflash what i'm guessing is the boot loader, but i can't find the hex or the bin file anywhere. apparently either there aren't a lot of icons out there or there aren't a lot of people bricking their icons.

if anyone has a working icon could they please get me the bin file i need?

Weird icon on status bar

Hey everyone, I just got my S5 a few days ago and when I restarted my phone I got this weird icon on my phone. I tried restarting a couple times but no luck yet. I rooted it two days ago but never had it happen after many restarts. There's no rom or anything so not totally sure what it could mean. Attachment 3438422

4G icon

Hello, This may be a simple question, but it's puzzling me at the moment.

I have a Galaxy S4 , rooted and running Hyperdrive 21. I haven't changed any setting in the past few weeks. For the past couple of days, the 4G icon will show up in the top bar, while on WiFi. It has never done that before. When I connect to WiFi the signal indicator was always there, but the 4G icon was not. I always relied on this to know if I was using my cell data or WiFi. Now I don;t know if the phone is using 4G or Wifi?

[Q] Getting LTE icon sometimes while on wifi

Recently updated to OA8 5.1.1 and having a weird issue.

While connected to wifi every 20 seconds or so the 4g lte Icon shows up, sends a bit of data then turns off again. Turned off download booster, volte is off, the setting that lets 4g take over for bad wifi is also turned off. It doesn't seem to be using a lot of data but it has gone through 1 or 2 mb in the past few hours.

I also tried freezing the Caller ID app like suggested in a HTC One forum but that didn't help at all.

Anyone else getting this?
